Rooms were super clean, the hotel seems to be new, the design was super cozy. Breakfast was great. Thank you to everyone at Riad Dar Awil for making my stay so memorable. I could gladly return and recommend this riad to anyone visiting Essaouira.

As soon as I arrived I felt calm and relaxed, the place has a very easygoing and friendly vibe. The housekeeping staff were very lovely and the kitchen staff cooked delicious breakfast every morning. I'm still dreaming about the Berber omelettes - they must be tried!! I've tried recreating them at home and have quickly accepted my defeat! Chrissie and Craig, you were so welcoming from the moment we met you and this remained unchanged throughout our stay. Your hospitality was the best we've experienced for a long time and we could not recommend Maison 250 enough. Thank you Chrissie, Craig and the wonderful team who make Maison 250 the haven it is!

I loved all the things about my stay at Villa La Rose bleu, Soufiane, the staff and the owner was really friendly and helpful, the property was beautiful, clean, quite and newer, it’s close to Essaouira and also sidi kaouki beach,

The decor and the colours are very soothing, great outside spaces for relaxing. Having a shared use kitchen was fantastic for cooking up leftover meals and making teas in the evening. We went surfing and did a cookery class with Bushra, learning to cook a fish tagine which was delicious!

The rooftop breakfast was delicious and they couldn't do enough for us - helping us to find a garage for our punctured tyre and offering to organize a hamman if we wanted ( though we ran out of time). This is a lovely riad right in the heart of the Medina.
