Small property (only two villas) with very attentive service and fantastic manager and staff. Food was great and the surroundings are truly unique - a short trip to Yala and a short walk to the beach (although not safe to swim at the closest one - which was fine as a it was a lovely walk and view.

Location was really nice. beach is there next to villa and we just have to walk few steps to the beach. foods were good and Hansa the owner also very supportive person.

The property features sea views and is 24 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary and 31 km from Situlpawwa. The campground has a fitness room, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. We loved our stay here. It’s right in front of the beautiful Indian Ocean. What can you ask more? Roshan and his team added a special touch to our stay with their kindness and attention to details. They surprised us with a special dinner under the stars. This memory will stay with us forever. The room was super clean and the food was amazing.

Situated in Kirinda, near Nidangala Beach and Kirinda Temple, Kingfisher Beach Resort-Yala Safari is a recently renovated property, featuring, an open-air bath and garden. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the children's playground, or enjoy views of the pool and garden. The room is beautiful, big and very clean! I really recommend it if you stay in Yala :) Breakfast was very delicious too. Walking distance to a beautiful beach also!

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hilton Yala Resort, a lovely and unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Shashi from Guest Relations, who was incredibly kind and made me feel instantly at home. Her genuine care set the tone for the rest of my stay. A special thanks to Vino, the Front Office Manager, for being so helpful and attentive throughout my visit. At the restaurant, Isuru was outstanding, always attentive, friendly, and full of positive energy. He made every meal even more enjoyable with his excellent service. One of the highlights of my trip was the beach walk guided by Chathura. His knowledge about the local wildlife and environment was impressive, and he explained everything in such a passionate and engaging way. The resort itself is stunning, surrounded by wildlife and natural beauty!! I couldn’t ask for more, thanks for everything.

Treasure Rock, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Kirinda, a few steps from Nidangala Beach, 15 km from Tissa Wewa, as well as 24 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. I did not stay here while in Kirinda due to limited space (the owner and I connected on Whatsapp and he helped in finding me another property nearby) but most of the people in my group did. I wanted to write a review based on my experience with the property and the communication with the host when they realized that they were double booked. We had dinner for 16 there and it was amazing. The Host family is great and the property is in an amazing location. My friends that stayed there loved it. It’s a little bit more expensive than some of the other options but from what I could see it’s worth it!

It is designed to echo the local architecture harmonizing with the jungle environment. Fabulous setting. With very friendly staff. With booking.com you get a daily safari included whilst the tour operators often book 2 per day. Be aware if you cancel you loose the tour which we weren’t aware of and as it was raining heavily we cancelled but as weren’t aware of the policy they did reinstate the tour. Food is lovely and don’t miss sundowners on the beach.

Built in 2012, the property includes hot tub and hot spring bath. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. Great stay! The place has a very good location—close to ocean. The staff were wonderful: friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. Overall, a very pleasant experience!
