One can walk at low tide to Nilaveli beach (15 min walk). Brenda was a perfect, talkative and helpful host as well as an excellent cook. One can refill bottles with a drinking water at the property. Nice well equipped huts with comfortable bed. 10 and 15 min by tuk tuk to Upuveli and Trinco, respectively. Surprisingly no mosquitoes (the first place without them during our 3 weeks travels in Sri Lanka). If you look for peaceful quite oasis this place is for you. Highly recommended!

I loved staying here. I booked for 2 nights and stayed for 4. Malika and Suman make you feel so comfortable. They are so kind and friendly, and they work so hard. I stayed in the basic room without ac and it was great. Super clean with everything I needed. The location is perfect, just 200 metres to the beach, restaurants, snorkelling tours etc but really quiet. It feels like a very small and safe village. Just wonderful! Thanks again Mali and Suman.

The property is around 9 km from Trincomalee Railway Station, 10 km from Kali Kovil and 11 km from Gokana Temple. The property is non-smoking and is located 7.6 km from Kanniya Hot Springs. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this place. Although the pictures are very accurate, I felt that everything was better in person. Each unit is pretty private and has a nice ground level terrace, perfect for relaxing. The room was really clean and the overall environment tranquil. We also felt safe here, as there is someone always on guard and also cleaning the property. In addition, I enjoyed the beach setup with beds and cushions with covers! The welcome smoothie still goes down as one of the best that I had during my holiday. The hotel can help organize transport for various needs.
