Everything was simply wonderful. The staff were very kind, friendly, and attentive — especially the administrator who welcomed us and was there for us every day. On my wife’s birthday, he gave her a Ganesha icon (which she absolutely loved). He was very thoughtful and attentive to every detail! The atmosphere was cozy, clean, and peaceful, and the breakfasts were delicious with several options to choose from. The administrator constantly checked if everything was fine, if we needed anything, if he should bring something, if everything suited us, or if our room needed cleaning. In short — an amazing employee and a great person! The room itself was completely new, clean, tidy, very large, and spacious.

If you prefer some extra luxury on this part the country, then this is it. The place is new, very beautiful, calm and quiet. We stayed at one of the bungalows closest to the pool. You have easy access to the beach, make sure to get a glimpse of the Sunrise in the morning. Ask for the local breakfast. Don't worry about the portions, they have a fully equipped gym :) The staff are very friendly. They were about to open a new spa. Also try the newly opened cafe outside.

I took non A/C room, which was very spacious and clean. There is a kitchen and common space perfect for working. WiFi is very reliable and fast. The owner is very nice and ready to help. The location is perfect. Opposite the house there is a small shop.

The guest house is located in a calm area slightly sideways from the beach. It is extremely clean and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Mosquito net was sufficient. The hosts are extremely helpful and sincere. We arrived late as we had a small car accident. Late check-in was not a problem and the hosts helped us to arrange a mechanic (even though it was a national holiday). In the morning, I asked for an iron and the host ironed my clothes free of any change, just of genuine kindness. We will not search for other places if we ever come back!

Our hosts Sitthu, Vinoth and Justin took good care of us and we felt at home at Jeys Place ! We had the opportunity to discover some secrets of the Sri Lankan kitchen, the location of the place is nice and close to the beach and the garden is really nice to relax. We highly recommend staying here for having a nice stay in Nilaveli ! :)

Everything was just perfect! Quiet place close to a nice beach with a very shallow water. One can walk at low tide to Nilaveli beach (15 min walk). Brenda was a perfect, talkative and helpful host as well as an excellent cook. One can refill bottles with a drinking water at the property. Nice well equipped huts with comfortable bed. 10 and 15 min by tuk tuk to Upuveli and Trinco, respectively. Surprisingly no mosquitoes (the first place without them during our 3 weeks travels in Sri Lanka). If you look for peaceful quite oasis this place is for you. Highly recommended!

Very beautiful bungalow, the room is big, clean and new. There is a big garden very well cared for. Breakfast and dinner are tasty, and they have been served on the tables in the garden which was very nice and cozy. There is a beach immediately on the left, near a cemetery, empty, and very beautiful. They have their own sunbeds for the guests. It was really beautiful to see the sunset and sunrise from there. For the next visitors: if you come to these beautiful parts, unfortunately the dogs situation in Trincomalee is quite sad. Please, bring some food with you. Next to the hotel there are two sweet dogs that would love some cuddles and food.
