It's a great place to start or end your stay in beautiful Sri Lanka. Only 30 minutes away from the busy airport, you arrive through a beautiful alley of mangrove trees to be greeted by the great team of Ging Oya. Imasha, Romesh, Nilantha and all the other staff make you feel right at home. The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. The pool is clean, large and a nice way to cool down. If you like nature and some quiet time, you should definitely plan to stay at Ging Oya. I know, I will again next time!

Kitelantis provides lagoon front accommodation in Kalpitiya. Among the various facilities of this property are a water sports facilities and an outdoor swimming pool. Amazing stay at Kitelantis - friendly and super nice staff, spacious bungalows, delicious food and good kitesurfing on the spot across the lagoon. Jessy also organised trips around Sri Lanka - overall an amazing experience and one to repeat!

Right at the beach. Perfect location if you want to do some kitesurfing. You can do a downwinder home ;-) Food was delicious, room was clean and big with AC and a fan. Laundry Service. and whatever you ask for… We stayed here for 7 nights and my friend took some kitesurfing lessons. Shawn is a great teacher and also the rest of the crew were super friendly, welcoming and took good care of us. We also left the kitebag at the place to continue our travels and got it sent back to Colombo (for a fee) however what a service :) All in all, we were very satisfied and had an amazing week! The host family are absolutely faboulous. A peaceful place for wind down. It is also actually good that it is not situated directly on the beach because it is often very windy.

Anawasal offers lagoon front accommodation and yoga classes in Kalpitiya. Free private parking is available on site. Everything was absolutely beautiful We couldn’t dream of a better stay to finish our 3 weeks trip in Sri Lanka The property is very peaceful Well maintained and Shibi is very present making sure everything runs smoothly We ate almost every meals there and they were healthy and varied. Highly recommended if you look for a piece of tranquil paradise … The staff is very sweet and dedicated

We had the best time staying at Wild Wadi Wilpattu. The property is located about 5 - 10 minutes from the Wilpattu park entrance which not only means you can easily book a safari but you also experience some incredible wild life just steps outside your door. We cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone we spoke with was so nice and so accommodating. It’s very clear that the folks at Wild Wadi are very passionate about animals, the environment and sharing all of their knowledge with their guests. We had breakfast and dinner at Wild Wadi each night. We had traditional Sri Lankan meals and it was some of the best food we had so far on our trip. We would highly recommend booking at Wild Wadi if you are visiting Wilpattu - such an incredible experience! We will be back!
