The breakfast is amazing and offers a nice variety too. Also the restaurant is very good and the staff will do anything to make your stay as good as possible. Kite surfing and their teachers were amazing as well.

SurfPoint Sri Lanka is a really cool spot to spend time, to base from for kiting and/or to take lessons. I did lessons and the quality of the instruction was outstanding. The hotel is comfortable and has a really nice common area where people hang out, eat, and talk story about the day’s adventures and have a laugh. Nevertheless, the hotel is nice and quiet for sleeping. The value is excellent, the food is good and competitively priced, and the staff are wonderful. I highly recommend SurfPoint Sri Lanka, and I plan to return.

It is located at a-minute walk away from the Rascals kite surfing school where you can rent equipment, learn how to kite surf and free boat transfer to main kite surfing beach. The property is located about 5 - 10 minutes from the Wilpattu park entrance which not only means you can easily book a safari but you also experience some incredible wild life just steps outside your door. We cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone we spoke with was so nice and so accommodating. It’s very clear that the folks at Wild Wadi are very passionate about animals, the environment and sharing all of their knowledge with their guests. We had breakfast and dinner at Wild Wadi each night. We had traditional Sri Lankan meals and it was some of the best food we had so far on our trip. We would highly recommend booking at Wild Wadi if you are visiting Wilpattu - such an incredible experience! We will be back!
