The accommodation provides a shuttle service, while a bicycle rental service is also available. If you never been to Kalpitiya, it has a sense of being on the outskirts of civilization. Here you stay nestled among the houses of the locals and share the beach with its fishermen. Beside great kite- and windsurfing (and endless beaches of course), there is not a ton of things to do in Kalpitiya. Scuba diving is good, when there is visibility. Dolphin watching is also a possible activity, but quite an expensive one that last a couple of hours. You won’t find any city center with shops, bars and restaurants near, but you can of course visit other resorts and use their facilities. However you should know that you have a very good restaurant on site if you stay at the Sea Sand Resort! This establishment is made up of about 10 small bungalows with a restaurant. The bungalows are quite basic, but very clean and comfortable and represents good value for money. Within about 10 minutes or more on foot, you can reach surf schools and beaches. From my own experience I can promise that you will be very well taken care off if you chose to stay at Sea Sand Resort.

At the accommodation, all rooms have air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. We loved SOLUNA so much!! We felt taken care of from the minute we got there till the minute we left, our room was amazing, and after riding our bikes 35 km up the coast, we can honestly say that it’s the nicest hotel from Negombo to the end of our ride. Stay here!! Another big bonus: I had a bad cold and the owner made sure I get medicine which worked like a charm. Thank you so much!!

Beautiful location next to a river with lots of wildlife around. Beautiful grounds to walk alround with lots of interesting statues etc .Lovely clean pool and great food. The owners were friendly and helpful. Pool surrounded by coconut trees and you can watch as the fearless coconut man climbs a tree and shimmies across the ropes from one tree to another placing pots to collect the toddy. We were given drinks to try .. delicious the food was good too especially the coconut honey . Great place to relax away from everything . The cabin was huge with seating area inside and outside to watch the squirrels running around .

The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Overall the place has very rustic view and the cottages were very independent and I liked a lot. It was quite windy so the sound from palm trees were amazing in the night. Great decorations and very very good food and hosts. We really felt comfortable and would definitely visit again.

It is located at a-minute walk away from the Rascals kite surfing school where you can rent equipment, learn how to kite surf and free boat transfer to main kite surfing beach. Yoga classes are available at an extra cost. I can absolutely recommend this place. Shibi, Dinesh & the team make sure that you have everything you need, without being to pushy. I extended my stay, because I felt so relaxed and comfortable here. The food is great :)

We cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone we spoke with was so nice and so accommodating. It’s very clear that the folks at Wild Wadi are very passionate about animals, the environment and sharing all of their knowledge with their guests. We had breakfast and dinner at Wild Wadi each night. We had traditional Sri Lankan meals and it was some of the best food we had so far on our trip. We would highly recommend booking at Wild Wadi if you are visiting Wilpattu - such an incredible experience! We will be back!
