We stayed at Mimoza Mirissa during our whale watching trip to Mirissa on B&B basis. Everything about this little hotel is excellent. It's situated at walking distance to Mirissa fishing harbor where whale watching tours start and also less than 1.5 km from the secret beach and <1km from Mirissa town. The rooms are comfy, well maintained and come with all the amenities. The staff is very friendly and courteous and provides excellent service. And flexibility at arrangements is also noteworthy. And all of this comes at a very fair asking price. If you're visiting Mirissa area this is the easiest to recommend. But you may have to make reservations in advance. Great location, clean room, good wifi, and breakfast was included. The owners were great to speak with and always gave us great information. Do not hesitate to stay here. Truly a great place.

Set right on the beach, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa offers beach front rooms, a year-round children's pool, relaxation pool and outdoor lap pool. It also offers water sport facilities and has close proximity to the Galle Fort and Blue Whale watching hubs. The resort also offers a garden with outdoor furniture, a minibar, bathtubs and ironing facilities. Everything. From staff extremely helpful. Namanthi to ur assistant was really exceptional. As well as all other staff.

Set in Hiriketiya and only 100 metres from Hiriketiya Beach, Pinnacle Pearl Hiriketiya offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Guests staying at this villa have access to a balcony. The indoor pool features a water slide and fence. Definitely one of the best stays I have/had in Sri Lanka. Very well placed close to the beach and main bars/Restaurants, amazing bungalows, very nice pool and incredibly friendly and helpful owners. Will definitely come back and stay longer next time!

Guests can enjoy British and Pizza dishes at the restaurant or have a cocktail at the bar. Everything about our stay was perfect — the location, the staff, and the facilities. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. New hotel just infront of the bay. Room was amazing and very cleaned and spacious, we were on the third fllor and could see entire waligama bay from our room. There is a nice roof top as well to see the sunset. Very friendly staff and they are helping for everything. Delicious breakfast. We definitely come back again. Highly recommended.

A bicycle rental service and a private beach area are provided at Painkiller Hiriketiya. I had the absolute best time in Hiriketiya thanks to Charitha and his family! I was supposed to stay for 5 days, but I ended up extending to 3 weeks — and honestly, I would’ve stayed even longer if I could have. Charitha goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are comfortable and happy. He often organizes meals, snacks, and drinks (his wife is an amazing cook!). He’s super responsive on WhatsApp if you have any questions or concerns, and he’s always genuinely happy to help. He is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and a true example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The facilities themselves were excellent — I have no complaints at all. The location is also perfect: surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and boutiques, and just a couple of minutes from the beach. I would go back in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and book your next stay with them!
