A selection of seafood is also offered. I cannot recommend Good Karma Resort highly enough! From the moment we arrived until our departure, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. The location itself is absolutely stunning – the beachfront setting offers an incredible sense of privacy and tranquility. You genuinely feel like you have an entire stretch of pristine beach to yourselves, which made our time there feel truly special. What really sets Good Karma apart is the exceptional service provided by manager Akila and his outstanding team. Their hospitality went far beyond anything we could have imagined. When I reached out about proposing to my partner, Akila personally helped coordinate every detail – from arranging a secret photographer to capture the moment, to organising a romantic beach dinner that was simply perfect. Also, when my partner fell ill during our stay, Akila immediately assisted us in getting to the hospital, providing support. Then, when Cyclone Ditwa caused our flight to be cancelled, Akila graciously allowed us to stay an extra half day free of charge. This level of hospitality is rare and speaks volumes about the values at Good Karma Resort. We left feeling not just like satisfied guests, but like we'd made genuine friends. Our stay was nothing short of amazing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 From the moment we arrived, I knew this place was special. The design of the cabanas is thoughtful and beautiful, the gardens lush and calming. Everything looked brand new, clean, well-maintained. Beds were super comfy, bathrooms excellent, plenty of space to breathe and unwind. The pool—two of them!—were exactly what I needed for a peaceful swim and to cool off. Breakfast was a highlight: generous, fresh, tasty, with enough variety that every morning felt like a treat. Location is perfect: tucked away enough for quiet and relaxation, but close enough to Rekawa Beach for beautiful walks and turtle watching . But what really made the stay special was Madura. Thoughtful, hospitable, always on point. Couldn't ask for a better host. He made sure everything ran smoothly, checked in just at the right times, gave helpful suggestions for things to do, Really appreciated his warmth. If you’re looking for a serene, well-designed escape, with excellent food, cleanliness, and superb hospitality — this is it. Don’t worry about the service, they’ve got it totally covered. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

This is the most fantastic place built around the trees and natural habitat on the outskirts of Yala national park. Everything was provided, the food was incredible and we were given a trip to the fishing village on the beach for sunset in their buggy with Suraj and Tilina. It was like a mini safari. We saw crocodiles, deer, tortoises wild boar and on the beach the boys showed us where the elephants had been earlier in the day, footprints still showing in the sand. Suraj and Tilina were both young but so knowledgeable and friendly. They provided us breakfast at 4am for our Yala safari and we can't thank them, and the manager enough for making us so welcome. Will definitely stay again if we return to Sri Lanka.

EVERYTHING - Manu and his wife Shishi and the house dogs were the best! we felt at home, Manu went fishing and cooked us fresh crabs, shrimps, fish more than we can eat at a very fair price. he also went fishing in the next morning again and cooked us fresh lobsters in the morning free of charge because he didnt have lobsters the night before. he is just too kind and giving. we played card games all night as a family:) rooms are clean and beds are comfy. also hot shower! dont leave this place without eating the seafood!
