Now my second time and my go for place to stay on this beautiful island. i enjoy the tatami room, but also there is one room with a western bed. a kitchen with everything what is needed to prepare food and tea / coffee. I hope you enjoy this place like I do.

Susie, the host is very nice and good at English.She will tell you the history of this wonderful city. Also, she drove me to the JR Station when I could not get a taxi. The environment is nice and cozy, feel like being at home. I highly recommend this cozy home to you.

The house had excellent facilities and is on a quiet location near the beach, cafes, train station and supermarket. It was great having the use of two bicycles also. Yumi is a great host.

The property itself was amazing! There is a lovely common space where you can cook and hang out! The beach right down the street is beautiful and empty and you can rent so many different water activities! Only thing: restaurants around the place are often closed or far away, you can take the bus there (which is going every half an hour until ~19:00) or make sure you have at least something you can eat ready at the hostel so in case you don't find something you are settled. There is a convenience store right next to the hostel.

A wonderful property. Free ambient night sounds (from the nature surrounding the property) to help you sleep. The owner has created a lovely place for stranger to coexist and even become friends.

The accommodation provides a hot tub, free WiFi and family rooms. I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse, warmly welcomed by the amazing hosts. The price–quality ratio is honestly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and on my last day, Kami even prepared some homemade onigiri for me to take for lunch, they were so tasty and such a thoughtful gesture. I truly felt cared for throughout my stay. This was the best place I stayed at in Japan, and when I return to Amami, I will definitely come back here.

Also, bikes for rent. Was very useful since I did not have a car.

This was truly one of the best stays we had in Kyushu. The lodge was spacious and had all the amenities necessary for a pleasant stay. The service was top-notch and its close proximity to the river (where you can swim) made it even better.
