Our host was helpful with everything, welcoming us with a help around the luggage, giving us good proposals where to go, what to visit, even where to park a car for free. Rivalago B&B is set on the seafront in Cannobio, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and 18 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a lift. The accommodation provides luggage storage space and room service for guests. The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.
