Staff were very helpful and kind. I am very glad that I chose Mandello to stay in. It was not as touristy as Bellagio or Varenna. So it was ideal to have a calm, peaceful holiday near the lake.

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The guest house features family rooms. One of the best run properties I have ever come across. Superb communication from the time of booking till arrival, the rooms are modern, very clean and thoughtful. Its 10 mins walk from the station, an easy 10’mins train to Varenna every hour. A beach and nice hikes around. The village is less touristy and shops are cheaper than the neighbouring towns. Certainly a great place to explore the area.

It was clean, well equipped, we got some nice compliments (wine; welcome letter in our language). Nice small garden, garage. Perfect communication with Marco.

Roberto also made us reservations for dinner at one of his favorite places.
