Amazing views to the mountains from the windows, beds were clean and comfortable, there was a bonus hot tub outside, which was very secluded. Tasty breakfast with a large selection. Options to rent bikes and helmets. Sheep outside, very friendly, had a lovely time petting them.

Urdartindur Guesthouse and Cottages is located in Norðurfjörður. Set on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area, a garden, barbecue facilities and free WiFi. There is parking on-site and the property offers an electric vehicle charging station. This was our favorite accommodation in the Westfjords. First of all, the price matched the quality, which allowed to accommodate two couples. We enjoyed the sounds of the sea coming from the ocean and the swim at nearby thermal natural pool. A seating area and a private bathroom with shower feature in all rooms at the family-run Hótel Flókalundur. Location next to Hot Spring, checking was fast (even though the restaurant was busy), room was spacious. Bed was amazing as well as pillows. There is a gas station next to it. It could have not been better.
