The property is in a gorgeous location overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. Lots of options for hiking and sightseeing nearby. Cozy and comfortable cabin had everything we needed. I’m so glad that we booked 2 nights - you’ll regret leaving after just one night. We didn’t see the lake monster, but did have beautiful aurora borealis shows both nights. This was our favorite place to stay on our whole trip around Iceland.

Really beautiful property in a very nice, remote location. Super clean, nice kitchen, comfortable beds. Everything you are looking for after an exhausting day. And very spacious!!

The bed and breakfast has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. The building was unique, accommodations were very clean and the shared bathrooms and kitchen were great. Host/owner was very responsive and helpful. Great value overall- would stay again.

Some accommodation includes a flat-screen TV, as well as air conditioning and an outdoor dining area. At the holiday home, all units have bed linen and towels.

The great grandfather was a postman and his story and photos are presented in a small museum of interest. The cabins and campground are surrounded by nice Icelandic farm views. Two ladies, true musicians, can delight you with their voices and instruments playing. The atmosphere is so friendly...a delight. The cabins are very comfortable and pleasant with good beds, showers....

Situated in the coastal village of Breiddalsvík, Hotel Breiddalsvik offers a large terrace with an open fireplace and rooms with a satellite TV and work desk. The Icelandic Route 1 Highway passes right by the hotel. Everything was great! Very polite staff and nice breakfast
