The Hostel Stories in Varkala is an incredibly friendly place to stay if you're visiting Varkala. I’ve been there for three weeks, and from the very first day, I felt at home—even though it was my first time in India! The hostel has a beautiful garden with hammocks, chairs, and fruit trees, always filled with good vibes and friendly people to chat with. The atmosphere is both calm and welcoming, making it easy to connect with other travelers while also having space to relax on your own. If you're traveling solo, I promise you won’t feel lonely! There’s also a lovely terrace where you can practice yoga early in the morning, hang your clothes to dry, or simply lie back and watch the stars at night. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hostel is just a short walk from the South Cliff, where you’ll find the amazong ocean, cafés, restaurants, and all the shops you might need. A huge thank you to Pintu and all the staff at the hostel—you made my stay unforgettable!

Lakshmi, Sandra, Ramesh, Srijeet and kitchen crew made our stay a magical experience. Pool was exceptionally clean with no mosquitos at all. Joseph (the owner) was no less of the help, solving our problems and allowing this to be 100% stress free relaxing stay. He was going the extra mile on his own to help us with the missing luggage. Aakash and his family were very helpful and kind during our stay. There was nothing that we needed that we didn’t have or couldn’t have help with trying to find. Delicious home cooked breakfast, filtered water (we were relieved to have a few days of not needing to buy plastic bottles) and helpful guidance for the surrounding area!

Well equipped property, excellent bed, nice living room with smart tv, plenty of tea and coffee. Good breakfast hot and cold options. Excellent bathroom with a great shower pressure. It had everything to make for a very comfortable stay.

Everything was amazing but the most amazing was our host! Wonderful Lady who made us feel like at home. She made delicious breakfast and made us sandwich for morning boat activitie. One of the best place i have ever stayed. Strongly recomend!
