It is very short walk to the town centre where you access most of service, shop, buses, restaurants and pubs in town. It is even more shorter distance to walk to the two superstore in town so it will be very convenient if you planning to cook for yourself. The owner Lorna is on site and gave us a very warm welcome when we arrive and take the extra steps to come out and greet us when we come back at night. The place are very well organized and arranged. You can see from all of the details for example flowers inside the room that Lorna is very passionate and attentively with this jobs. Plus you get the whole floor by yourself and it is very comfortable and relaxing inside the room. We really enjoyed the stay here and it is probably the most comfortable places we stay at so far.

Clifden Bay Lodge was, by far, the best. Location, view, comfort were very good. Small things, like good size, clearly labeled containers of shampoo and soap that did not require flashlight to read helped. Breakfast was memorable with home baked pastries. The owner made the place special.

The spacious bedrooms in this 19th-century country house feature countryside views and antique furnishings. Just superb in every way. Sinners in tbe “greenhouse” were exquisite. This is my favorite place to stay in all of Ireland. Ray, the manager, holds up the tradition that the late, great Kaye maintains ed for decades. The Cashel House is a national treasure. See above.

The cottage was extremely cosy and the owners couldn't do enough to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Great recommendations for food locally. Looking forward to booking again.

We celebrated my 60th birthday with 13 friends from all over the United States. We all stayed within Clifden town and enjoyed a night all together on the beautiful deck. Loved the location and kitchen/deck space. So convenient to all the shops, pubs, restaurants, and grocery store. Gerard was wonderful to work with- friendly and very responsive. It is an older home which some might not like but we loved it and would come back time and again.

This beautiful apartment is right by the water, so quiet and comfortable. We loved staying there and will most certainly return. The apartment was very sparkling clean, very well thought out for guests and has everything you could want for a short or a long stay. It’s also right in the middle of Cleggan Village, with wonderful pubs and food. We particularly loved Newman‘s Bar and Oliver‘s seafood bar. . If this apartment is available, I recommend that you book it! We certainly will do so again.
