Accessed only by boat from Panajachel, the apartments at Atitlan Sunset Lodge Apartments come with a large seating area, plus a dining table and a private terrace with lake views. The private bathrooms are equipped with a shower and toilet. This may be the best place I have stayed. The views were incredible. The location was easy to access, but very private and peaceful. The on site staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good and the staff there were very friendly. Having access to a free paddleboard for the morning was great. Great place to swim right off the dock. The hot tub was a nice place to hang out in at sunset. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and there was (decently) hot water. The concierge was helpful and helped me arrange transportation back to Antigua. Cannot recommend enough!!

Their communication was top-notch, and it really made the experience even more pleasant. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-located spot with responsive and caring hosts, this is the place to be. The apartment consists of 1 bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and 1 bathroom. We stayed in casa santa cruz for 2 nights. It was a really beautyfull apartment in the middle of nature. Also the host esteban was really nice and always close by when needed. It is a 2 min walk to the lake downhill where you can swim and chill. Really recommend this apartment!

A recently renovated apartment in San Marcos La Laguna and with Volcano Atitlan reachable within 33 km, Tierra de la Aurora offers a private beach area, rooms, free WiFi and a garden.
