A very nice hotel in walking distance to Naxos Chora. The room was very nice and clean and a great size for two. The little terrace was nice and gave a bit of shadow. The bed was very comfortable. The Hotel staff was very nice and it was super easy to rent a car directly at the reception. The pool was very clean.

Grotta Hotel is situated on a beautiful hillside, overlooking Naxos Town, yet only a short walk from the beach.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful hotel in Naxos. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a stunning sea view from the balcony. The location is perfect, right at the top center of the village, just a 2 min walk from Naxos Castle. A special thank you to Katerina, ourwonderful host, who was incredibly kind and helpful. She even drove us by car during an emergency for my wife something we deeply appreciated. Her hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Naxos!

The hotel is very beautiful, clean and in a good location (centre in walking distance). I liked the breakfast very much, because everything was fresh, homemade and very delicious! Moreover, I would like to mention the kindness of the hotel personal. They were all so helpful and lovely and wanted to ensure that we had an amazing stay in Naxos. They gave us really good recommandations for restaurants, beaches, hikings - I really loved being there! We also rented a car which they organized for us. Thank you very much! I can only warmly recommend this place!😊

Best accomodation of my 3wk holiday. I booked for 3 nights and had an extra two,it was that nice. 15 min slow walk to the main part of town. Next to a bakery,and super market 2 mins away. Very clean and beautiful decor. Very helpful owners.

Probably one of my favourite stays. Everything about the hotel was perfect. Gorgeous room (we were kindly upgraded to a stunning room with a sea view and private outdoor hot tub). The pool area was perfect with a stunning sea view and the most incredible sunsets. Not to mention the spectacular private beach. Delicious breakfast served with a large selection, with new treats on rotation daily. The lunch and dinner menu was beyond what you’d expect from average hotel food at very reasonable prices (even for alcoholic beverages). The chef was incredible! But what really tops this place off is the staff - everyone from the hotel manager to the bar & restaurant staff were so kind and attentive. Such lovely people who are devoted to making sure you have the most pleasant stay. You’ll come as strangers and leave as friends. There is just something so magical about this place, it really does bring people together, including other guests. Never been to Naxos before and randomly chose this island on a whim. But will definitely be returning especially for another stay at Akre. Thank you so much 😊

What an absolute gem at Plaka. From the moment we got there, till the moment we left, our experience was beyond of what we could have asked for The beautiful villa, the amazing pool, access to the gorgeous beach, fresh and delicious food.. and above all, the lovely staff who took care of us, like you won't believe. As a testimony to our love for this hotel; We left for our next destination, Paros, for a 3 day stay, however, 24 hours later we were back at Sundunes, because we could not find this level of standards at our next hotel. Why change a winning formula, right? Last but not least; a hugr thank you to Nasos, George, George 2, Anastasia and the rest of the team! You have been amazing and we are looking forward seeing you again next year Juan Marcos, Samantha and Janet

Everything was perfect, Maria was very polite and helpful, the room was better than the pictures and kept clean daily we have been around a few of the islands now and this one is up the top of best stays, the location was central to everything, very good restaurants and cafes within a 5 min walk. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay. We would stay again

Since the hotel is located in the heart of Chora, and due to the season not being fully open, having all the amenities within walking distance was a great convenience. There are very nice cafes and restaurants just a 2-3 minute walk away. Even before we arrived on the island, the hotel owner, Vangelis, answered all our questions and was very helpful. Checking in to the room was very easy. Our room was impeccably clean and smelled of soap. We had a fantastic view, and watching the sunset with a glass of wine on the balcony was very enjoyable. Vangelis promptly responded to our messages and provided solutions. He also gave great suggestions about things to see and do on the island. The cleaning lady was very friendly and meticulous, immediately attending to all our needs. The room may seem a bit small, but it has enough space to meet all your requirements. Since we are light travelers, this room was more than sufficient for us.
