It offers free WiFi and Canal + channel. Location was central and near a local park which was lovely.

Completely renovated, the hotel consists of three village houses, 35 rooms spread over 3 floors, and plateaus in the heart of the most shopping district of Biarritz, Les Halles, is a lively and green place, with a few ocean views in premium. We are a family of five with three teenagers and stayed for three days. We stayed in teh appartment, which is a separate building just across from the main hotel building. The flat was on two levels, with a double bed and three single beds. It had a small patio out front which was actually wonderful, in that we could sit outside and drink wine or coffee and enjoy the sun and the very central location. The beds were very comfortable! The hotel is very central, a block from the market and a grocery store and surrounded by restaurants. The staff were very friendly. We did surfing lessons every day, and the surfing was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. For beginners, Biarritz is fantastic for surfing -- very good predictable waves, and many options for rentals.

It is a ground floor annex to the adjacent house. Access at the very bottom of the cul de sac. Very useful to have both dishwasher and washing machine. Nice decking area at the front where you can sit and hang washing. I struggled initially to find the key safe box because I was looking by the main house. The host was very responsive and gave further guidance (in French). Good WiFi.

The property is 500 metres from Grande Plage, and within 200 metres of the city centre. Staying at Maison MAÏTÉ really added to our stay in Biarritz. It was very central, comfortable with a lovely decor and open space down stairs. Vincent was also very helpful 👍 Really enjoyed staying there, as a couple for 2 nights.
