A nice guesthouse for our two night stay in Mindelo. The hosts are very welcoming and we enjoyed our large room. The breakfast was plentiful and we were able to try many local treats. There's ample parking outside if you have a rental.

Everything! We stayed there for only one night, but if we could redo our vacation we would stay there for at least 3 nights. The location is idyllic. You can go snorkeling with the turtles right outside your door. There is an amazing view over the ocean from the shared balcony. JP is the perfect host. He carried our luggage, offered to do our laundry, arranged a taxi for us, etc. His hospitality was never ending! The accommodation was of superb quality, according to European standards. Great shower, good bed, everything was spotlessly clean. Towels and even washcloths are provided.

This boutique hotel was well situated on a charming, quiet street in central Mindelo; it’s also only a few blocks away from the harbor and right near the main area to explore. Perfect location! From the beginning of my reservation, communication with the hotel was efficient and helpful. I also received a warm welcome upon arrival, even though I came late at night after my flight. The rooms are beautiful, well-decorated and very clean, and there is a cute patio area where you can relax outside of your rooms and have a delicious breakfast. I appreciated the friendly service and attention to detail from the staff. Absolutely loved this place and wish I could have stayed here a bit longer!

Really comfortable space, inside and out. Christina was super friendly and helpful during our entire stay and kept herself available throughout our visit. The rooftop patio and accessible fridge/kitchen space was super convenient during our stay as well.

I loved everything about the accommodations from the location, the space, the breakfast and the comfort. But the thing I liked the most was the hospitality of the owners. Celestina and Carlos went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I would not hesitate to return.

Offering a terrace and views of the sea, Maderal is set in Mindelo in the Sao Vicente Region. Free private parking is available on site. Some rooms feature a seating area where you can relax. Very clean place with comfortable bed. Location is in a quiet area, about 20 mins walking distance from the ferry and 10 mins to the center. Filomena, the owner, is amazing!! We were only there for one night before our ferry to Santo Antão but when we went back to Sao Vicente she let us leave our luggage there while we explored the city and then let us take a shower!! Highly recommend!

The lovely owner and the staff went above and beyond to help us out with a flight issue, that we are beyond grateful for. A delicious breakfast too :)
