We enjoyed the pool, clean rooms and proximity to the town. Off street safe parking. AC in the rooms worked a treat and the rain shower was warm. Hot coffee awaiting in our private outside lounge area every morning and fabulous breakfast available on order. We would definitely stay again !

The place had a very homey feel with lovely staff working here. I liked the proximity to the beach, only a very short walk and that the hotel is in the nature away from all the hustle and bustle. The breakfast was good and generous and restaurant for evening meals was very good as well. I think it was the best place I stayed on my trip to Costa Rica. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The homestay has family rooms. You couldn’t wish for better hosts and room/ garden / kitchen facilities / location and maybe I was lucky but all the other guests ( maximum of 12 ,at a time ) were amazing people . My 10 days were making great new friends , very kind and genuine people seem to gravitate to this beautiful hotel . You will see monkeys in the trees and wake to their howls & the bird life and that’s it , no road noise , leisurely coffee and breakfast then onto your day :) Absolutely faultless , highly highly recommend . Situated in Tamarindo, 500 metres from Tamarindo Beach, House of Nomad - Adults only features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. This 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. The hotel also provides free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Everything! It was a sanctuary for me. Clean, well-maintained, nicely designed room and space (the room was also very spacious — I could even lay out a yoga mat and practice everyday with more than enough space to walk around it). There’s a self-contained kitchen if you wanna cook. Also the owners and staff are fab — very friendly and helpful :) Close to restaurants and shops. It’s a short 2-3min walk to the main street and a big supermarket right there… and you can walk to the beach in about 10mins or less. If you’re feeling lazy, there are about 4 restaurants at your doorstep. As a solo female traveler, I also felt really safe. Would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Tamarindo!

The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Above all, the Refugio concept — which includes a beautiful café and a cozy bar offering excellent food and drinks — truly exceeded our expectations. Unlike at other accommodations, we didn't have to eat Gallo Pinto for breakfast every day, but could instead choose from a wide variety of delicious brunch options directly from the restaurant/bar. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed — from arranging surf lessons to recommending great local restaurants. We were mainly in touch with Augustin, who took excellent care of us. Overall, we were delighted with our stay and can highly recommend this place.
