The site is charming, it has a natural feel with lots of trees and shaded seating areas and sweet animals wandering around .Our hut was on the beach front with a lovely terrace and the views were incredible. The term "Eco" is used very loosely in the region, but Ubuntu truly does live its values. The site has such an interesting story and I encourage everyone there to discuss the project with Margarita and hear of the wonderful work she is doing to share her learnings and promote community/eco tourism across the National park. This made the community feel of Ubuntu all the more special and we were so grateful to be able to visit this amazing but fragile environment whilst staying somewhere with sustainability in mind. I would highly recommend this place to all!

The accommodation features room service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. This hotel is a little gem! The location is lovely, super quiet, there is nothing else to do than read a book by the beach, eat some fresh seafood, laid on the transat and relax. The staff is absolutely amazing, Sol, Louis, Louis2, etc. They do absolutely everything to make you feel good and make sure you are having a good time. We will be back and will recommend this place.

Hotel Calamari Baru has a private beach area, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Playa Blanca. Built in 2019, the property is within a few steps of Playa Blanca. The accommodation offers room service, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. The service at this hotel was really great. We spent four nights to relax at the beach after our month travelling throughout Colombia, and the people working at this hotel are really amazing. Very helpful and kind. They also helped us organizing trips to Plancton and diving. And last, but not least, the restaurant is perfect! They offer a big variance of food and everything is very tasteful. Even guests from other hotels are coming to this place for their dinner!
