Situated in El Valle, 2.2 km from Playa El Almejal, TORTUGA BAY Eco Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. With a restaurant, the property also has a bar. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. We did a tour to Utria National park. My expectation was entering the jungle with a nature guide to look for local animals. Instead we went on a beach tour. So be sure you explaine correctly what you expect to get the right tour. The other morning we went alone on a little path behind the hotel and managed to see a group of monkeys. So there are wild animals around. For the locals they are just so normal, they don't mention them. Among the local birds are also eagles. Same thing, locals won't mention them as special, as the are regularly seen.

Places to see. Breakfast was great in the mornings as we hung out on the balcony. Loved the hammock!! Wifi was great as long as the power was on. It’s in a rural quieter part of capurgana. You definitely get the authentic Colombian experience. We enjoyed are week stay:) I’m gonna miss it and look forward to a return visit:)

This pet-friendly guest house also has free WiFi. Beautiful spot, secluded but not to far from town. Staff are so lovely 10/10. They made us breakfast really early due to our boat. Very hospitable. Lemonade on arrival was a bonus. Clean room, lots of space. Bed was comfortable. Out door shower was really nice!
