Located in rural surroundings in Praz on the shore of Lake Murten, Hôtel Restaurant Cave Bel-Air offers a private beach, a garden and rooms with a balcony and beautiful views of the lake. The lake-side location, the garden terraces, the room size, and the comfort of the bed & bedding were all excellent. We were over the moon that there was a large fan in our room during the heatwave days of July. The staff was pleasant, kind and accommodating. The breakfast coffee was superb, the best I've had in my many visits to Switzerland.

This 3-star hotel is located directly on Lake Murten, surrounded by an unspoiled natural landscape and only a 10-minute walk from the small historical town of Murten. Free WiFi is available. I had the pleasure of staying at Bad Murten See in the Deluxe Apartment, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! The location is absolutely stunning, right by the beautiful lake, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to such scenic views was a true highlight of my stay. The Deluxe Apartment itself was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It really felt like a home away from home. The room was tastefully decorated and had a cozy, welcoming vibe. The staff was exceptional – friendly, attentive, and always eager to assist with any request. It’s clear that customer service is a top priority here, and they go above and beyond to ensure guests have a fantastic experience. The hotel offers plenty of areas to relax and unwind – whether it’s by the lake or in one of the many lounge areas. The entire environment is perfect for both relaxation and enjoying some quality time in a beautiful setting. I would definitely return to Bad Murten See on my next visit to the area! It exceeded all my expectations, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!
