It is a beautiful property and a great base for walks to Hertenstein, Vitznau and to the cable car to mount Rigi. The hotel is near the ferry dock which provides an easy way to reach the many small pretty towns on the Lake Lucerne. The hotel staff is very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast buffet is simply delicious! It is a very good opportunity to sample local breads, cheeses and cold meat cuts, and the hostess will also cook eggs to your liking. Our room with the lake view was so pretty! Highly recommend the hotel.

The shared bathrooms and toilets were spotless. The reception staff were polite and attentive. The hotel’s location was also very nice — in a lovely area.

The Seehof du Lac is situated in the centre of Weggis and only 25 km from Luzern, on one of the loveliest spots on Lake Lucerne. Guests can enjoy a large lakeside lounge with direct lake access. Everything was fantastic. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful – always available and smiling. We also loved the food served on the beautiful terrace by the lake – it was truly superb. We really enjoyed our stay and the location is perfect, we visited Luzern and Mount Rigi, both are only 30 minutes away.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area, far from city noise, which made my stay incredibly relaxing. One of the standout features was the fresh, clean air—a refreshing change that added to the overall sense of calm. The best part of the experience was the stunning lake view. Whether from the room or the outdoor terrace, the scenery was absolutely beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset. Overall, this hotel is an ideal option for anyone seeking affordable relaxation, tranquility, and natural beauty. I would definitely recommend it for both short and long stays.
