Two comfortable low-rise buildings with a pool, sun umbrellas, and sun loungers between them. Very pleasant hosts. Extremely friendly dogs and one particularly communicative cat added even more positive points. The room was spacious and very clean. The local restaurant offers a very tasty dinner and breakfast. One of the most pleasant accommodations we have stayed in.

We loved Guesthouse Lord Byron - a really friendly and relaxing place. We loved the riverside beach, the pool, the great food (it was the best breakfast of our holiday) and really friendly staff!

Our stay in this guest house was incredible - it's well situated, with clean, comfortable rooms and a beautiful view over the city (particularly at sunset). The family are also all wonderful people: the grandmother cooked us a wonderful Albanian dinner, our host offered to drive us to the bus station, and every interaction was full of warmth and kindness. I recommend this guest house very strongly, and will absolutely come back!

Highly recommend staying here! We had such a comfortable stay, in a perfect location that is just a few minutes walk to the old bazaar and castle. Also loved the breakfasts each morning. The highlight though is how amazing the hosts are! Mikel was super friendly throughout our stay and went out of his way to help us and sure we had an amazing time in Gjirokastër ☺️

Could not fault the hotel. Amazing views. lovely pool - needed as so warm. perfect location under the castle walls and 6-7 minutes walk to centre square. plenty of parking. Good breakfast. Tea & coffee in the room. Exceptional staff- the manager in charge (Niko) was amazing - coming out to our car to help us find the hotel, advice on where to eat, great service throughout our stay.

Perfect location in the old part of town just by the foot of the castle and 5 mins walk from the bazar and other historic sites. The little nice swimming pool saved us from overheating when we were done with the sightseeing of the day. The personnel makes the difference- they’re very pleasant, eager to help and talk to the guests. The breakfast was EXCELLENT 👌🏻
