This is a great hotel of excellent structural design and interior decoration, excellent accommodation and professional management. Room’s clean and bed’s super comfortable, very good bathing facilities and cleaning supplies, fast wifi network, everything is just perfect. We booked the room with spacious lovely balcony, has a special view point of the city life. Very good location for city walk. Restaurants, coffee shops, the Main Street, and the seaside square are just nearby. So I really recommended this hotel. BTW the sunset of Durres will never disappoint you.

Comfortable Accommodations: Villa La Mer Durres in Durrës offers family rooms with air-conditioning, private bathrooms, and balconies. Each room includes a work desk, TV, and free toiletries. The hotel was very clean and the owners put a lot of thought, care, and effort into it. This place had the best shower pressure out of all the places during our trip. There was a place to rinse off any sand in the parking lot. There was a spot to dry swimsuits and towels outside which was very handy! They even had toys for playing in the sand to borrow. The breakfast was yummy, and there were lots of options. Parking was easy and directions for finding the place were really clear.

The people that run the hotel and cafe downstairs are very very kind, the lady that helped us gave us free breakfast and cold water bottles every time we left the hotel. The atmosphere in the café was very local and Albanian, lots of regulars are getting their morning coffee there before work. The rooms were very old-school with wooden furniture and a lot of storage space. The AC was working very good and turned the room to chilly temperatures on the hottest days. The location of the hotel is also very good, close to the busstation (5 minute walk) and a walkable distance to the beaches and city centre, the walk from the hotel to the city is especially nice.
