Most of all: The staff was superb! Caring, helpful and very friendly. The place is perfectly located in the city center and all the nice restaurants and shops are close by.

This hotel is a true gem! Right on the beautiful Grotto Beach it is a slice of paradise. We stayed in the beautiful Southern Right Suite, and a suite is is!! The sliding glass doors open to the beach, the breakfast is served on the terrace with views in the beautiful garden. In the evening you enter your room to a burning fire and sit with a sherry watching the fire and listening to the waves. In walking distance is a nice restaurant you can walk to on the beach. The pool is small, but heated and adds up to the perfect experience.

Amazing location, right on Voelklip beach so the view was wonderful, watching and listening to the sea rolling in. Every morning, breakfast was simple but delicious - lovely fruit and yoghurt bowl, then a delicious cooked breakfast (if you wanted it). Tito and his team were great, and made our stay very special. We will be recommending the Hermanus Beachfront Lodge to our family and friends.

The pretty Abalone Guest Lodge is a 4-star property situated at Sievers Point, directly on the cliffs overlooking Hermanus Bay, an ideal spot for whale-watching.
