Bewertung übersetzen Just outstanding. We were a bit reluctant in arrival being given the basement apartment next to the seaside entrance door (101). But neither the street in front nor the entrance door turned out to be a nuisance (it was indeed quite comfortable). After it turned out that this was indeed the room I booked, we started to be happy and enjoyed our stay very much. Even the fact of not having the expected washing machine (some sports clothes were in dire need), had no negative impact, as washing was offered and issued properly. Trevor, Banash (?) and his colleagues couldn’t have been more helpful, attentive & gentle. The place was clean, modernly furnished and equipped with everything needed for an even longer stay. Even bottled water and milk were in rhe fridge. Oh, yes, a tea towel would be fine next time. The town is just around the corner. Frances café, 1 min walk, just great for breakfast. We would be happy to return to Esplanade Hermanus and their friendly staff.

A first-rate, outstanding Guesthouse!! Everything about it was outstanding. The incredible location, directly on Westcliff with incredible views of the ocean. A short walking distance to downtown. Absolutely everything. Huge 3 bedroom apartment with the most stunning view of the ocean from the balcony and one of the bedroom. I could stay on the balcony forever. We saw whales breaching and tail swatting just sitting there. Apartment is fully equipped and though it can be cold in the colder season you get heated blankest and heaters in the bathroom and living room.

I loved Everything about this place !!! Sooo clean, quiet (the walls are thick), comfy, very safe, the kitchen is huge and so well kept, lots of space everywhere, bathroom spotless, bed comfy, room with its own little fridge and extras. I just LOVED this place. Couldn't be better situated, I could see a bit of the ocean and the whales from the balcony in front. One minute walk and you are in the centre or at the Waterfront ! Awesome !!! I had a shared room, 4 beds, with shared bathroom.

This hotel is a true gem! Right on the beautiful Grotto Beach it is a slice of paradise. We stayed in the beautiful Southern Right Suite, and a suite is is!! The sliding glass doors open to the beach, the breakfast is served on the terrace with views in the beautiful garden. In the evening you enter your room to a burning fire and sit with a sherry watching the fire and listening to the waves. In walking distance is a nice restaurant you can walk to on the beach. The pool is small, but heated and adds up to the perfect experience.
