Beach Hotels in Cooperstown

The motel situation in front of Otsego lake is excellent. It is easy and pleasant to go and have a swim at the hotel beach (even though there is a road to cross). The Motel grounds are very nicely kept with beautiful flower beds.

Great views, beach, and nice staff.

We absolutely adored this little motel. We were visiting Cooperstown and decided to stay outside the town. The room was clean, comfortable, affordable, and we had a lovely view of the lake. Our room was on the end closest to the road with a little private patio. The staff were very kind and welcoming. In the warmer months, there is a beach across the road you can access.

The lake view is impressive and particularly nice to have a deck with a view to the lake (2 rooms only have this). Although there is also a beach (in season) and seating right on the lake shore.

Wow a hidden gem. Very large rooms, spotless, comfy beds and a lake view from the room. Beautiful grounds with a beach, great decks and wonderful lobby area with game. I wish we were staying longer so we could have enjoyed the property more. The staff was amazing and very friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

The location is excellent. The view from the beach is beautiful.

Didn't have breakfast, but did offer free coffee for the stay. The views from the second story rooms were amazing. The beach swimming access was closed but the dock across the street provided phenomenal views of the lake and mountains.

Loved the beach and swimming near the marina area. Very quaint. Staff was super helpful and nice.
