Ahmed came and introduced himself on the very first day, gave me his contact information and offered to help with anything I needed for my stay. He was very helpful during my 4 days there. The staff were all friendly and great. The location of Royal Mandarin was perfect. I was right on the beach and it was raked and kept clean daily. I couldn’t have picked a better location and would come back here. I have already recommended it to friends.

Amazing location, right on the beach. Large sea-facing room on 1st floor has the most spectacular terrace we’ve seen - around 30 m2 overlooking the beach, with water few meters from the hotel. Room and the terrace occupies entire front of the building, so guests enjoy total privacy.

Absolutely stunning apartment, very stylish beautiful and clean. There's everything you need also all kitchen facilities if you would like to cook something. We had everyday cleaning and breakfast served on the personal terrace. For breakfast we had eggs (you can choose boiled, omelet etc.), pancakes, toasts, fresh fruits and juice, coffee and tea. They won't let you be hungry. Ladies from the second floor didn't use pool so it was almost private for us. The host Sonia is so lovely and helpful. You can find some very good local restaurants close to the apartment and some European style. Also fruits, water and other food can be found in the close by markets. We visited all the most popular beaches of Zanzibar and this is our favorite. There are no big and noisy hotels, parties, tons of beach sellers and lots of people on the beach. So if you like quiet places without noisy surroundings this apartment is for you.

Housekeeping added small touches like handwritten notes and creative towel art that made us smile every morning. Sonia, the owner, is warm, helpful, and genuinely caring, always making sure things go smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone looking to rest and recharge in peace. Local restaurants nearby may offer only a few dishes, but every option we tried was absolutely delicious.

Nice small hotel with nice food. The room is big and spacious, very clean. The internet is very good even on the beach. The owner and staff are wonderful - super nice and helpful. I recommend it for a relaxing holiday.

It was a wonderful experience at Mambo Ocean Resort. We arrived early in the morning and to our pleasant surprise, our room was ready for us and we were checked in immediately. The complex is extremely peaceful and very well maintained. The tension of big hotels is missing, which predisposes to a full-fledged rest. We had breakfast and dinner and the food was very tasty. The staff is wonderful, ready to help at any time. They went out of their way to make us feel like we were in heaven Pascal, at the front desk, Paulina who is the best waitress we have ever served and everyone else. At the beach, trust the amazing Simba who will organize the best excursions for you at the lowest prices.
