We had the most amazing stay at Boho, we loved everything about the hotel and Kiwengwa. The staff are very sweet and service minded, the property is beautiful and the rooms are cleaned to the highest standard everyday. Breakfast is outstanding, and the best we have had while in Zanzibar. The bar is super chill and offers delicious cocktails. Daniel and Roxana made our stay simply wonderful and they also arranged tours for us which we really enjoyed. We highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday. Thank you for your warm hospitality Team Boho.

The hotel is beautifully located, cozy, intimate - for those who like their peace and quiet, not a mass-tourist approach, like many other hotels in Zanzibar. It's definitely a place with a soul and one-of-a-kind. :) Laura, the owner, is very helpful and provided us with a lot of recommendations on what to see and do in Zanzibar. The breakfast in the restaurant was plenty - fresh fruit, local donuts, freshly squeezed juice, great coffee, tea, plus menu a la carte - I recommend avocado toast, also pancakes were delicious, sausages, eggs... You name it. Every day we tried something different :) Generally, the restaurant and food in Poa Poa have always been totally delicious!! We ate lunch and dinner there (accommodation includes just breakfast) because the menu is rich, and they have an excellent chef that we've met, compliments :) As for their food quality and menu, the price is very, very good, cheap even. We've tried other restaurants in Kiwengwa and Poa Poa has been our number one choice. Plus we've always been treated so nicely (great service). Generally, the staff is very nice and helpful, especially waiters. We really enjoyed the live music evening :))) Sadly, we've managed to see just one (but was so much fun! Also special Swahili food, so you could really get the feel of Zanzibar!), but apparently they do live music twice a week (we've been there for just 3 days). You can also get a massage in the hotel, and they offer different kinds. Generally, we've been really happy with the place and would recommend it for people looking for an intimate romantic getaway or a family holiday with great food, location, clean beach, and ocean views. Authentic place!

It has just been a dream! We were very warmly welcomed and we immediately felt home. Gloria, the owner, and Anna were just so kind and available for questions at any time and also the staff was really really nice! The hotel has such a relaxing atmosphere and the view on the beach is just stunning. You can even have breakfast and lunch with the feet in the sand and a view to the beach. The food was very delicious and priceworthy. Gloria was also organizing trips for us and next door you can also have a massage, if you want to. Even when my boyfriend got a high fever and intestinal problems they helped out with contacting a doctor. Every waitress knew what was going on, so they were preparing the right food for him - we felt very safe and well cared for! All in all we couldn‘t have made a better decision to choose the White Dream and we will miss it a lot!

The meals on site were very good with a great deal of variety, everything was fresh and well presented. The fresh pastries and fruit served with breakfast were delicious.All the staff are very friendly and want you to be part of their Marifiki family.( Marafiki in Swahli means friend) Some of the exceptional staff include, Suzie, Esther, Justina (reception)Baton and Jack at the bar, and Nyungai,and Mhusin in the dining room. The beach at the resort is not really suitable for swimming but we knew that in advance and since they had a beautiful clean pool we were not expecting to use the beach other than for nice walks when the tide is out. We took part in the complimentary yoga class offered twice weekly and it was amazing, overlooking the Ocean. We were looking for a place to chill out after our safari on the mainland and this definitely hit the mark. It was never really busy as it only has 19 units in total. Our friends and us stayed in 2A and 2B which share a building and overlook the pool and are close to the bar and restaurant with a beautiful ocean view.

The location was breathtaking, felt like you are in paradise. Kiwengwa Beach resort is great for everyone, especially for famalies. So much to do at the resort from swimming in 1 of 3 pools or ocean, playing volleyball, tennis, planned activities in the day, shows at night etc. The staff from management, to waiters, kitchen, housekeeping, gardeners, animation team - everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Variety of delicious food options.

After an easy-peasy pickup from the ferry in Stone Town, we arrived at the Villa to be welcomed by a super friendly team and a romantic seafood dinner set for us right on the beach. It was perfection from the first moment! We spent a relaxing weekend enjoying the pool, walking on the beach, playing games, swimming in the ocean and eating the delicious food prepared by the Chef. We felt safe, pampered and well taken care of. Mr. Davies made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We can't wait to go back!

The hotel is located at the quieter end of the beach and room was located right on the beach so it felt like you had your own private beach. We really liked the front patio and hammock.

We liked everything, from the wonderful, smiling and always helpful hosts and staff, through the amazing space around the hotel, wonderful massages, to the restaurant, the view of the ocean and our favorite outdoor bed right on the beach. It was a pleasure to spend a week of our vacation there, we felt like at home. We hope that we will be able to return there again.

Unlike most other resorts this one is right on the beach, there is no barrier between you and the ocean. And since it’s a small place the beach vendors (who are everywhere on every beach in Zanzibar) tend to focus on the beach stretches of the bigger resorts. This is a huge advantage. Food is great, staff is friendly and welcoming. Walking up and down the beach it was super evident that this is the best place for kilometers both up and down the beach.

The first thing I want to mention is the lovely staff, very friendly and attentive. Location right on the beach. You can watch the views of the ocean, having breakfast or relaxing on a sunbed. Good cuisine at reasonable prices in the hotel restaurant. So, if you are looking for an atmosphere of complete relaxation and tranquility, this is the right choice.
