Beach Hotels in Kiwengwa

It was not as busy as some of the other resorts. We were able to relax and enjoy the quietness, but could also enjoy the warm swimming pool and amazing views. The food was great. I would recommend booking all inclusive or full board.

Wonderful hotel! Could have never dreamed of anything better. It was paradise! It’s the perfect location if you’re looking for peacefulness and quietness. The staff was incredible nice, always having nice attentions. The food was absolutely amazing, beat breakfast and dinner ever! The rooms are really lovely and the pool is a bliss. There is also a very good gym. We would definitely come back!!

Amazing!! 10/10. From the moment of our arrival and airport pick up at Zanzibar aiport untill our departure 1 week later, Boho Boutique made our stay very special. We were greeted on arrival at the boutique by the owners who are very special people and run the hotel with passion, care & dedication, paying attention to every detail. Our room was spacious, modern and with a very comfortable bed, all amienities supplied, including excellent Wifi, our room was a few steps directly onto the sandy beach, a dream! Breakfast was superb and all staff ftiendly and attentive.special thanks to Boho for helping us to arrange trips around the island and giving us great reccomendations. We'll definately be back!

The hotel is beautifully located, cozy, intimate - for those who like their peace and quiet, not a mass-tourist approach, like many other hotels in Zanzibar. It's definitely a place with a soul and one-of-a-kind. :) Laura, the owner, is very helpful and provided us with a lot of recommendations on what to see and do in Zanzibar. The breakfast in the restaurant was plenty - fresh fruit, local donuts, freshly squeezed juice, great coffee, tea, plus menu a la carte - I recommend avocado toast, also pancakes were delicious, sausages, eggs... You name it. Every day we tried something different :) Generally, the restaurant and food in Poa Poa have always been totally delicious!! We ate lunch and dinner there (accommodation includes just breakfast) because the menu is rich, and they have an excellent chef that we've met, compliments :) As for their food quality and menu, the price is very, very good, cheap even. We've tried other restaurants in Kiwengwa and Poa Poa has been our number one choice. Plus we've always been treated so nicely (great service). Generally, the staff is very nice and helpful, especially waiters. We really enjoyed the live music evening :))) Sadly, we've managed to see just one (but was so much fun! Also special Swahili food, so you could really get the feel of Zanzibar!), but apparently they do live music twice a week (we've been there for just 3 days). You can also get a massage in the hotel, and they offer different kinds. Generally, we've been really happy with the place and would recommend it for people looking for an intimate romantic getaway or a family holiday with great food, location, clean beach, and ocean views. Authentic place!

Everything was amazing! The staff, location and area. Emanuel was really nice and helpful, always willing to help with anything, even when we bought water he offered to carry it for us in the room. The breakfast was amazing, everyday fresh fruit and amazing coffee. The place is very authentic and very nice. Also they kept our room really clean, changed the bedsheet everyday and moped the floor. I’d definitely recommned and I’ll definitely come back! 😊

Unlike most other resorts this one is right on the beach, there is no barrier between you and the ocean. And since it’s a small place the beach vendors (who are everywhere on every beach in Zanzibar) tend to focus on the beach stretches of the bigger resorts. This is a huge advantage. Food is great, staff is friendly and welcoming. Walking up and down the beach it was super evident that this is the best place for kilometers both up and down the beach.

Calm and cozy during rainy season. I would definitely recommend this place. Bungalows are spacious and beautiful. Frendly staff, amazing breakfast, gorgeous garden!

The atmosphere, the pool has a crazy view, the personal is adorable, the food was very tasty, the room was splendid! To advice :)
