Nestled among a mini tropical forest hill and ending on a private beach, the property is a micro-ecosystem of itself. We were first booked on the upper section (up the hill) of the property for which one needs to use lots of stairs to reach the pool, beach and the cocktail station area. Next day, we upgraded ourselves to the lower reaches of the property near the beach - so we have a good measure of the property. It has been a memorable stay - top notch staff service, room and general facilities, and the restaurants, especially the Thai Beach restaurant. The breakfast is excellent and nothing really to complain. Because we have experience of fantastic Thai hospitality from other places, we could nit-pick and say that we have seen even grander juice/beverage and fruit options at less luxurious properties - something the management can think about. The cocktails station at the beach, which dishes out nice cocktails entire day, is a favorite amongst guests and always buzzing. The area has nice beach benches with comfortable mattress where one could lie around for hours with lovely ocean views. We happened to use the pool, gym and the reading room on the mezzanine and they were very good. Overall, a lovely luxurious stay.

Perfect place ! We were really satisfied. Spacious and bright room. Very good bed linen and mattress. Good cleaning. There are everything you need. Great location : 5 min to 7/11, 10 min by walk to Bang Tao beach and different cafes. Very calm neighborhood. Also there is a very cozy terrace and space in front of the house. Very nice and cute host. Recommend to stay

The hotel is very modern and spacious, you don’t feel observed as you sometimes feel in other hotels. It was really peaceful and relaxing staying at Norn Talay. There was a good local restaurant 1 minute away on the beach and everything else (supermarket, ATM, shops) were about 12 walking minutes away.

ocean view is awesome and it is really pieds dans l'eau! just some steps and you're on the beach. Surin beach seems tp be the most comfortable and the cleanest one in Thailand though it is not very clean indeed

Great location: The resort is located in a very tranquil location and has a private beach. We have enjoyed both golden and rainy day sunsets. Staff: The staff is accommodating & responsive - booking tours via the concierge and dinner at the beach restaurant were delightful.

The location was perfect! Right on the beachfront. The staff members were super friendly and the room was beautiful. Janet at reception was especially kind and helpful! The bathroom even had an epic view. We appreciated the free bottles of water and coffee and creamer every day. Also liked the smart tv being able to connect to netflix and youtube. It was a memorable stay and I would love to go back!

Staff brilliant. Spa wonderfully relaxing. Perfect beach location and happy hour cocktails watching the sunset was idyllic.

great in terms of location as it was right on the beach but to get to the restaurants you couldn’t walk down the main road as there’s no pavement so you had to walk across the beach to go into town. it was clean and the staff were helpful. nice rooftop pool but the bar wasn’t open whilst we were there. there is a lovely little walk outside the hotel along the coastline to get to another secluded beach which was lush. surin beach is also lovely.

Superb location. Maybe the only hotel in the area right on the beachfront. All rooms with sea view. Room size ok. Breakfast adequate.
