The place was a beautiful set up, right on the beach. Waking up to the noise of the ocean was incredible! Would definitely stay here again. The outside sofa/kitchen area was a lovely bonus!

Beachfront. Perfect for divers. Chalok Bay is a nice calm place to stay. It’s a nice small neighbourhood with everything you need and lots of dining options. 5 minute scooter drive to the hustle and bustle of Sairee.

We spent 2 days at Sunrise Koh Tao, Walking distance from the Ferry. We were pleased with the room given to us, we had a beautiful view of the beach and Mae Mae the host who helped us with our check-in and excursions had a great hospitality. The place is clean and you can sit by the restaurant, work or enjoy a drink by the beach. You can even swim at the beach. The sea was very very calm. Staff at Sunrise was extremely polite and helpful with the renting of a bike or even planning the day excursions. Sunrise is located at the center of everything with less noise. If your looking for a long stay at Koh Tao then Sunrise is the perfect place.

We had a great time. The staff is helpful, most of them speak little English, but they smile nicely. The hotel needs maintenance and repairs. It would be a great place for a vacation if the owners made the necessary investments in the buildings.

Very friendly, great service. Perfect location and the only cool pool in Thailand in a while. Most other pools seem to get too warm in the sun. Always helpful and provided good advice.

Absolutely fab location! We wanted something out of the way and on this side of the island and this hotel provided that. The villa was great, private pool and they knew they were out of the way so provided a 5L bottle of water in the room you could buy for 70 baht. The communal pools are huge and loads of sun beds. The restaurant was lovely, we ate there for our evening meal and all enjoyed everything and it wasn’t overpriced.
