The resort is right on the beach. There are several coconut trees providing shade just outside the resort on the beach. Su and her husband are terrific hosts. The bungalows are quite new, very clean and well maintained. There is a 7 Eleven and several restaurants all within walking distance. Several of the restaurants have beach fronts. Su is able to organise a motorbike for rent.

The situation in a beautiful garden full of flowers is amazing! Examples? An orchid growing in an open coconut that is nestled on a coconut tree… Pots with roses - the one on front of the house is inhabited by a large frog. And of course the patch of sand exclusive for the house on the beach. Though even we were in high season, there is no one on the beach other than from the villas left and right. So almost all alone on the beach.

The place is truly a home away from home. All details have been thought through to ensure you are comfortable. The rooms are extremely clean, comfortable and simplistic yet luxurious. The staff goes way above and beyond to ensure you are looked after, feel at home, and have everything you need. I cannot emphasis enough on how beautiful the pool area and seaviews from the room are. It's a bit away from the city centre, but for me that was a positive. I am not the party every night kind and needed my peace, which this place has plenty of. However it is not at all secluded. There is a 7-11 right across the road, many food joints in walking distance and awesome spas walking distance too. Laundry and scooter rental is available with them and right across the street as well. The staff helps arrange for or help you find anything and everything. I will be back to Koh Samui just to stay here and meet these awesome people again!

We really liked our stay at BangPo Resort. It’s in a quiet location but still has all the facilities close by. Very friendly staff.

I love this place - simple huts in a remote part of the island, away from the crowds, but it has everything you need. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the sunsets are unbelievable.
