Let me start by saying the hosts are amazing, I have never felt so welcomed and comfortable to stay in a guesthouse! The place has everything you need for your stay, the kitchen is well stocked with cookware and the house is very clean. The location for me was perfect, it’s just outside the chaos of the downtown core but easy and fast enough to get to by public transportation and by vehicle. It’s walking distance to the trains, trams, local authentic food and a grocery store. I will only stay here whenever I visit Portugal and would recommend it to anyone.

Comfortable and fully equipped flat in a lovely location. Walking out of the flat right into the old town street. A view of the restaurant, the shop. One could sit for a long time and enjoy these views. Around midday the tide was out and you could observe the seafood fishermen at their work. Very good contact with the hostess (Guilhermina). Hassle-free check-in and check-out (code for the locker). You have to drive around a bit and look for a parking space - I recommend in the street by the river, from there it's a walk of about 3 minutes to the flat. We are very satisfied and would be happy to return.

Nice location, very close to the beach and all facilities, like supermarket or shops. Nice host, nice apartment, I read in previous comments about noise from the street, but for me it was ok, not too noisy, it just normal activities outside, as apartment has quite central location, and after 10pm is was always quite.
