We rented a residential property a few minutes’ walk from a vast and mostly deserted beach that is part of a Rotana Hotel resort. Really enjoyed the early morning swims in the sea. The great thing is we had access to all the hotel facilities including a selection of restaurants while having the option to cook at home. The swimming pool was right by the terrace. The owner has a property agent who was really attentive. The local area is full of picturesque places to visit as long as you have a car.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. Our host Mr. Rabee was extremely hospitable and helpful. He greeted us by burning frankincense and showing us everything in the apartment. He also kept in contact with us for anything we needed and sent us information about places to visit. Great view of the beach (which is across the road) and delicious street food stores across the road.
