Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.

Very spacious room with everything you need: equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom, nice separate bedroom, cleaned daily, you can park just outside your room. The view is right on the water. Loved the owner, very nice guy, helped us with everything, even arranging some activities around. Best oysters in the restaurant next door!

The cleansity, facilities and location of the motel were all fantastic! It's located right by the bay and in walking distance to shops, restaurants and the ferry wharf. Also, the Waitangi treaty grounds are right around the corner.

Not many motels can claim to overlook a waterfall and an ocean-river lagoon, but Waterfalls Estate can.
