We stayed in Nipah guesthouse already 15 years ago and thought it was great then. Returning now has been amazing with lots of improvements (like a fine swimming pool.) The family that runs it are lovely and super helpful, the cottages spotless and comfortable, there’s breakfast facilities like toaster fridge, spreads and free tea/coffee all day and the garden is kept beautifully. Very close to beach, shops and restaurants, daily feeding of hornbills- it’s just a wonderful and peaceful place - the best we found in the whole of Malaysia - highly recommended!!

An amazing Guest House here on Pangkor Island that is strategically located at the heart of the island. Great value and incredibly convenient for those traveling in groups as the house does have ample space, but it is also very clean and fits large groups - What I love the best is the privacy as you also have access to a car park lot (you'll definitely want to rent a bike/car at pangkor), you can simply drive in and out the residential area at your own convenience. The host made check-in/out incredibly easy and provided us with a lot of Pangkor insights. The bed was very comfortable, AC/Shower heater worked well and everything was really clean (facilities & utilities were fanastic) Wifi is great, so was the Smart TV and we got to utilize the Kitchen utilities for cooking quick meals (surprisingly has all the extra Kitchen utensils you would need + extras). Would stay here if I were to visit Pangkor (definitely much better than any Hotel due to exclusive privacy, utilities & perks). If you going with a group larger than 4 people, getting this accommodation is highly recommended. Really enjoyed my time at Villa88, out of all the places I've stayed at Pangkor in the past, this one has been the best so far. Such a great stay, at a Paradise Island

Positive Review Overall, my stay at Pangkor Better Life Minimalist Beach Villa was very satisfying. The villa is spacious, clean, and perfect for large families or groups. Cozy chalet with nice wooden interior, close to the forest. We could sit on the balcony in the late evening and listen to the nature sounds. We read in the previous comments about the steep hill to the place and we contacted the staff in advance. They advised the back entrance which is quite easy to access from the point where the taxi drops you, even if you dont have backpacks, as us. We loved the breakfast, it is local malaysian and very well made. The breakfast place is also very nice, on top of the hill with view to the sea. Pangkor island is a little bit of a hidden gem, mostly known to the local tourists who travel here during weekends

The rooms are huge with big bathrooms, a roof safe, balcony where we took out our chairs and table. Best bed in terms of comfort, pillows and linen that I have slept in so far in my 5 week trip around South East Asia. Everything felt like it was new, including the curtains. Breakfast was lovely. It was a short 5 minute walk to the beach if we turned right or 1 minute to all the hawker stalls and little shops if we turned left.

Lovely staff, Ravi and his team were always available and happy yo help. The only noise at night were the frigs and cicadas outside - very peaceful. There is a very steep hill to get to the guesthouse but it was fun doing it on a motorbike
