It was a pleasant stay. Fully furnished, clean, peaceful and private just how I imagine it would be, suitable for a quick weekend getaway or brief staycation. Will definitely return at earliest opportunity.

The hotel team is incredibly friendly and smiling, it was a pleasure to be with them! Despite the small size of the room — understandable, since you're literally in a pipe! — it has a full shower, a comfortable bed, tables, and some storage space. The staff thoughtfully provides water and cleans every day The breakfasts are delicious — both buffet and à la carte. The territory are much nicer and more beautiful than expected — two pools, two beaches, secluded corners, and stunning views. Black monkeys also visited :) An undeniable plus is the excellent Wi-Fi, which allowed us to work fully (we work remotely)

The accommodation was comfortable. Complimentary coconuts and treats were served upon arrival. We were allowed to visit resort next door, Culvert. We were satisfied with the trip!

The hotel is a beautiful little quiet oasis with a very friendly and helpful staff who made our stay so easy and comfortable. The area around is beautiful and for adventurous travelers it is the perfect place to stay as the hotel helps arrange all kinds of activities for you like a trip to bako national park or the orangutang nature reserve. It was perfect in December as the hotel was quiet and the weather was nice.

Very peaceful and relaxing, I enjoyed sitting on the balcony of my tree house on the edge of the rainforest, watching and listening to the sea lapping on the shore a few metres away below. There were also local wild monkeys that fed in the treetops around the cabins and tree houses and throughout the resort, both proboscis and silver monkeys were present. Staff were all great and friendly, full marks. The Cultural Village was also right next door.

We had lovely time in Damai Beach Resort. Since the receptioninst made a mistake and put into the wrong category of accomodation, we have seen both. Invest into the premium category, you will not regret it. That part of the hotel is a paradise. The standart category is ok but it doesnt even get half way to the experience you get on the top of the hill. There are great pools in the resort and you practically have the beach for yourself.
