We walked by the hotel one day and looked it up on the internet. The hotel just opened but we booked a room for 3 nights. The owner, Enrico was the sweetest. Very good communication before we arrived at the hotel and also during our stay! The staff is very helpful! Everything is brand new. The rooms are very beautiful and the view on the rooftop is amazing. We recommend this hotel and are definitely coming back!

This place is the best in weligama. It is located 5 minutes walk from the main point and the centre of weligama and it is quiet and peaceful. You can get the getaway from the noise and still be very close to all that is good in weligama. The staff is super warm and welcoming and the rooms are spotless clean. We came to weligama mainly to surf and it was perfect for us. The hotel is located right on the beach but does not have a private beach but it is no problem as you can have so many beaches right next to it

OMG!!!! What a lovely place. We were made to feel so welcome from the minute we arrived. The staff are the kindest and most thoughtful I ever met. Breakfast was delicious with so much to choose from. From the moment we arrived at Cape Weligama, our honeymoon became truly unforgettable. The villa we stayed in was incredibly spacious, offering every comfort imaginable, including a luxurious bathroom with its own sauna. The highlight was the stunning infinity Moon Pool, where we could relax while enjoying breathtaking ocean views. The Beach Club with private beach access made our stay even more special, giving us the perfect balance of privacy and relaxation by the sea. The gastronomy was simply outstanding—every breakfast, lunch, and dinner was of the highest quality, comparable to a world-class five-fork restaurant. We are especially grateful to our host, Salman, who was always attentive and ensured every detail of our stay was perfect. Our heartfelt thanks also go to the entire service team, particularly Lahiru, whose warm and impeccable service made us feel at home. The hotel also organized a safari to Yala National Park, taking care of everything from the comfortable transport from the hotel to the park, to arranging our own private jeep and guide once inside. Our guide, Damitha, impressed us with his excellent explanations and deep knowledge of the park, making the experience even more enriching. To make the day even more special, we enjoyed a spectacular lunch at Wild Coast Tented Lodge, another property from the Resplendent group—an experience that exceeded all expectations. We had a magical honeymoon on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, and without a doubt, we will return next year to celebrate our anniversary at this paradise.

The family room was a perfect size for us. The hotel is located right on the beach, and you can swim In the ocean or go next door and order a couple of beers from the bar and use their pool. Central Weligama & Marissa are only a short tuk tuk ride away.

Very nice place to stay, right on the beach. Great cuisine and service, much better starred hotels use to have worse. Surfing school and equipment on place. All we needed.

- Beautifully landscaped garden facing the beach - Beach virtually private beach with loungers - Clean room - nice personel - the accommodation is a bit quieter, in Weligama itself there is a lot going on on the beach and there are higher waves, so there are a lot of surfers in the water, here in the beach resort it is much quieter, therefore much more suitable for families with small children than directly on the beach
