Once you arrive, you never want to leave! The space is incredibly spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. Located right next to the beach, both the main bedroom and the living room offer stunning ocean views, and each opens onto its own balcony. The modern-chic interior design perfectly complements the seaside panorama. Although the building isn’t in a bustling area, you’ll find restaurants and grocery stores just around the corner. It feels wonderfully private without being isolated. Delivery services like PickMe and Uber Eats work seamlessly (We’ve linked our Wise card to directly shop in LKR with a better rate), and the fully equipped kitchen makes cooking a pleasure. The rooftop’s generous infinity pool is my personal retreat. I could spend hours gazing out at the sea. From up there, you can even glimpse the Port City skyline, including the Lotus Tower. The gym is well-appointed, and the rooftop dining area is ideal for meals or evening drinks. Our host, Sandaru, was an absolute delight. We needed to adjust our booking and check‑out times multiple times, and he handled every request with patience and responsiveness. Truly an amazing host. The building’s 24/7 security team is friendly and professional, and the maintenance crew does a fantastic job keeping the entire property clean, including the beach - spotless! We had absolutely no complaints. This place surpasses any hotel in terms of privacy, value, and flexibility. It provided everything we needed for a perfect stay, and we totally totally recommend it 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️

Everything was just as perfect as it looked online! From the moment we arrived, our host was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth. The accommodation was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. Communication was excellent throughout our stay, making us feel truly at home. Highly recommend this host for anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable experience! The location is unbeatable with an amazing view, it is in the heart of Colombo with easy access to restaurants, public transport, local attractions and all the best hotels in Colombo are within walking distance from the apartment. Very clean, new and modern apartment building. Two bathrooms and everything else was provided (incl bittled water) Mahesh is a very nice and friendly landlord. Due to lightning strike the day before, his apartment’s AC was broken down but he arranged for an equal apartment in the same building immediately. Also he helped us buy some food late in the evening during heavy rain and a thunderstorm by driving us around the village. The next morning he took us to the airport in his car as a courtesy although he had to go to work himself. Extraordinary great hospitality. Thanks a lot.

The GFH lives up to its reputation. The location is unbeatable, probably the best-located hotel in Colombo, situated right on the oceanfront. One can never get tired of the view of waves crashing against the rocks, whether sitting at the FireBeach or at the King of the Mambo. The rooms are spacious, and although they have a distinct colonial charm, they are equipped with all modern amenities. The beds are large and comfortable. Then comes the food. The hotel has several restaurants, and we tried all the buffets. They were extensive and absolutely delicious. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.

The hospitality was exceptional. Mr Dinesh recieved us at airport in the middle of night. Great service. When my child got sick he took her to hospital also. A very kind gesture from the hotel was they arranged for special food for my daughter during her illness. The location of the hotel is simply excellent. It's right on the beach and the humongous windows of the room augment the beach view experience. Wifi is good and the pool is cozy. Would 100% recommend. Everything was taken care by Mr Dinesh. Loved the peacefulness of the place. It’s really well maintained and clean. Located just in front of the beach You can see a beautiful sunset, have a nice Long Beach walks and have a good rest before or after flight. The workers and the manager were really nice We ordered the breakfast and it was extremely tasty.

I loved my stay at this apartment! The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even allowing me to do a late check-out. The views from the apartment were breathtaking, and the building facilities were fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the stunning sunsets, and the security staff were also very friendly and helpful. Additionally, there's a charming local family restaurant just a short 5-10 minute walk away, which added to the convenience.

It's run by an old Sri Lankan couple who are very kind and helpful. The House is close to the beach and you can walk for 3 minutes to get there. Airport is 30 minutes away from the house which is what we needed. Two Bottles of water were provided. The owners brother dropped us to the airport at 11pm at night (for a price, ofcourse). So that was one less worry for us.
