This hotel was simply the best stay ever! From the moment we arrived, everything was beyond amazing. The hotel is brand new, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed, with modern, stylish rooms and pristine bathrooms. We had a room right next to the pool (yes, there are actually two pools!), making it feel like a private paradise. One of the biggest highlights was the breakfast – hands down the best on Earth. Every single day, we were treated to a different, incredibly delicious, and rich selection of food, showcasing a mix of local and international flavors. We couldn’t get enough! The owners are absolutely wonderful. The host is super friendly, and his wife is the sweetest person ever. She even made us healthy cocktails and packed a homemade lunch for our long journey, which was such a thoughtful touch. Their kindness made the experience even more special. The location is peaceful and stunning, tucked away in a quiet, lush area. However, it’s very easy to reach the beautiful beaches of Tangalle with a quick tuk-tuk ride or by renting a scooter (which we did, and it was so much fun exploring the area!). Even though we skipped the touristy turtle-watching tours, we were lucky enough to see a baby turtle hatching and making its way to the sea while on a walk – such a magical moment! The bed was super comfy, the AC worked perfectly, and we loved relaxing on the private terrace attached to our room. Every single detail was carefully thought out to create an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for an amazing stay with warm hospitality, the most incredible food, and a perfect location, look no further. I 100% recommend this place and would come back in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic stay in Finch Tangalle. One of the nicest places we stayed in our Sri Lanka trip! Shenu does everything at the property, he was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some great chats with him one evening 🙂 - he offered us a delicious welcome drink and a smoothie each day we were there ❤️ The hotel is located just off the roadside so is nice and quiet. The birds you hear here are wonderful. The room itself was huge, it even had a separate living room! Ours also had kitchen facilities should you require them. The pool area was very well maintained and peaceful, a lovely spot for a dip to escape the heat. A really great hotel for the price point, thanks for an excellent stay.

There is a massive garden where the accommodation is and you have often wild animals such as monkeys and peacocks in the area. You get a lot of privacy in the villa and ours was sparkling clean. We got delicious breakfast in the morning at reasonable and fair prices. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. The bed is also very comfortable. Highly recommend.

No words to describe this extraordinary place. Everything is so well done : the house is beautiful, the decorations are amazing, the room is so nice and confortable, the outdoors are magnificent especially the swimming pool, the meals are extremely good and the staff is devoted to you. It lies on the beach, which is beautiful with very few people on it, even though you cannot swim because of the waves. The spa is very good too.

We had an amazing stay at Halcyon in Mawella! The hotel is perfectly located – peaceful, with a quiet, clean beach just steps away. The atmosphere is super relaxing, and the pool area is beautiful with plenty of sunbeds, so there’s always a spot to unwind. We ate all our meals at the hotel – breakfast, lunch, and dinner – and every single one was delicious. The food is a wonderful mix of Sri Lankan flavors with some Western touches, fresh and full of taste. The setting is gorgeous and the staff are genuinely friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a laid-back, beautiful spot to enjoy the south coast of Sri Lanka!

Everything. Super clean, comfy and spacious room! Owner is friendly and helps out in everything. He's the best! He took us to a closeby place where turtles hatch. Had no luck with baby turtles due to the bad weather...but guess what?? We saw a big turtle laying its eggs. Beautiful nature♥️ breakfast was superb too! Owner varied it and gave us a taste of great SriLankan food. Ended up spending an extra night there, even though it's during the rainy season!

It is right on the beach so fabulous ocean views. We made the mistake of booking a small beach cabana because of it's location, but without air conditioning. We had to move the second day to an air conditioned room without a sea view simply because we couldn't cope with the heat, and let me add here that we are Aussies and use to hot. The manager was great and happily moved us to a lovely air conditioned room.

Awesome hotel, right on the beach, the beach itself is fantastic! The beach is so long and there are basically no people, you have all the privacy in the world, I loved it! One of the best beaches I’ve ever seen!

Great hotel located in Kalametiya, right on the beach. There is an infinity pool on premises, since the waves are too big to allow for safe ocean swimming. The rooms are large and clean. AC works well. Laundry was done perfectly, and spa services are professional and recommended. Breakfast is simple but delicious. Staff is all smiles, welcoming and professional.

A quiet hotel right on the beach with a pool, restaurant and bar. We stayed in the sea view bungalow which was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and allowed us to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean!
