What an amazing place. Comfortable, tastefully decorated, but not overly manicured as many other resorts. The food was great, the staff friendly and helpful. Service superb. Paradise beach with white sand and a tranquil sea to swim in. Hands down my most relaxing stay in Sri Lanka.

Everything about the resort was really amazing. Very spacious and spotless rooms /chalets with very clean spacious bathrooms. Very warm and friendly staff with such hospitality. Checking in constant to see if the guests are comfortable or if need any assistance with anything. Spectra views of the sea and the design of the resort is amazing. Beach is perfect and really clean with the softest sand. Rooms /chalets are serviced lightly in the evening as well.

A secluded and relaxing place. Villa is was very spacious and well appointed. Joseph the host was very accommodating. The accommodation is right on the beach. Watch the fishermen haul in the nets in the morning. Meals were very good although not cheap. A little bit out of the way but if you want total relaxation, seclusion and a peaceful stay at a very reasonable price for the area this is highly recommended. The touches of candle lit on the terrace at night, flower pond at the entrance of the villa, nice eating area all add to the atmosphere.

We had a great time here and we even extended our stay for one night. The hotel is amazing, has a very good location, with direct access to a beautiful and quiet beach! The staff are very nice and always available to help with anything you might need, the garden was very well preserved, there were sun beds near the sea for use of hotel guests and the pool was also quite enjoyable. Breakfast was very good with lots of different options to choose from. The hotel was very quiet, perfect for relaxing and enjoying your days in the paradise that is Pasikuda beach!

For our second visit to Passikudah we chose Anantaya Resort and we couldn't have chosen better. From the first moment to the end we were looked after by the friendly staff, especially Rishopana and Kanogitha. We booked this resort for a room with direct access to the pool and we were lucky to get perhaps the nicest room. But what makes this resort special is the people who work here. We also spoke with the friendly beach/pool attendant S. and likewise the waiters and cooks at breakfast and dinner did everything they could to make the guests happy. Excellent Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner. My husband was delighted that the waiters here could spin a beer with a foam cap. The room was very nice and clean. The pool was cleaned regularly too. Free sunbeds on the beach. Beautiful beach and walks. If we had not booked another stay before, we would have stayed longer. We will definitely be back here soon!

Beautiful quiet resort located right on the beach in a calm bay protected from the seasonal big waves. Great long pool and pool area with smiling and service minded staff. Good breakfast with local and national dishes, egg station, fresh fruit and juices. Fresh fish, squid and lobster cooked in the small beach restaurant at the beach. Calm place too relax and enjoy on the white and beautiful beach

Property was amazing, very clean and brilliant air con system, great shower with hot water. A river runs through the resort with 15 crocodiles in it and on arrival there was a baby crocodile down at the river. We received a welcome drink on arrival which was delicious and staff insisted on taking our bags to our room. Brilliant pool which was very clean and had a bar. Properties are right on the beach with a stunning view. The food was nice and the large restaurant area was very clean.

Wonderful time !! Unforgettable stay at Giman Free Beach Resort. Peace and privacy on the beach, no disturbance at all. We both had a wonderful time at the Beach, with shallow water for a perfect sea bath throughout the day. Food offered was just to our liking and the sea food was special. The staff is ever accommodative and supportive. Lots of trees around you and nature all over with inhouse naturalist to show and explain the nature, nature trails and History. Great place to stay for an extended stay !!

Very nice property right on the beach. Large beautiful room and big bathroom with great shower. Very good breakfast. Amazingly helpful staff!!

The food was amazing - so much variety and all very tasty. The staff were also amazing - super friendly and the service at the restaurant was amazing. The rooms were very spacious and the pool area/lawn was very well maintained. Being right on the beach was really nice too.

Super friendly staff, awesome breakfast and right on the beach! It was a short walk to reach restaurants, and you could walk along the beach to Pasikudah bay in 10mins. Our room was HUGE and we had a bath in the bathroom which was a bonus for the kids!
