One of my best stays ever was in this beautifully setup and well maintained property. The room size was very big and spacious ( Room - Turtel ) The highlight of my stay was the food served by the chef who makes each and every dish with perfection and as per your requirements. To top on that, we had a beautiful sea view from our balcony and dining area. The place is such a vibe.

The family who owns the place is so nice- they have arranged everything from whale watching tour to tuktuk drive. The location of the hotel is great, rooms are comfortable and clean and have nice jungle view, you can watch monkeys playing on the trees from the balcony. We liked the hotel so much we reserved it also for our second stay in Mirissa.

Perfect location only 700m from the beach. You can sleep very quiet, it's a very clean room. Good breakfast. Ruwan is very friendly and knows the exact spot to see seaturtles and when! Don't hesitate just book this homestay! Ruwan is very customer friendly!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The location was perfect — close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful views all around. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, exactly what I needed for a pleasant stay. What truly made the difference was the staff. They were exceptionally kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a delicious coffee smoothie, and throughout our stay they often brought us local homemade dishes to try — such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel genuinely cared for. Every day they went above and beyond, checking if we were comfortable and helping us with anything we asked for, from local recommendations to small personal requests. The breakfast was also outstanding — fresh, generous, and full of local flavors. Overall, it was a wonderful experience thanks to the combination of comfort, great food, and the incredible hospitality of the team. I would absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back again!

We found a Home in Mirissa—Sanda Hiru stole our hearts 💛 We stayed at Sanda Hiru Guesthouse for two nights, and what we took back was far more than just memories—it felt like family. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully comfortable. Every detail reflected the care they put into hosting. Breakfasts were not only delicious but served with such love—you could taste it in every bite. This was packed for us to have it in our train journey when we going from Mirissa to Colombo so tweak it accordingly - The special treats like freshly made pancakes and those addictive coconut toffees were the sweetest surprise! And when we mentioned we wanted to try Sri Lankan masala, they went out of their way to get it for us. Honestly, who does that these days? But what truly made it special was them—the people. Genuine, kind-hearted, and full of warmth. We laughed together, shared stories, and created moments we’ll always carry with us. They didn’t just host us—they welcomed us like one of their own.
