Best hotel we have stayed in during our Sri Lanka roundtrip. Everything was perfect from the moment of arrival until check-out. The manager and the full team are so friendly and attentive. The rooms are big, bright, clean and come with amazing views over the beach and sea. Breakfast is delicious and extensive. Dinner menu is also great. They even arrange a 4-course candle light dinner at the beach upon request. The location of the hotel is nice, directly at a super beautiful beach, a little more quiet than busy Mirissa and easy to get around with affordable Tuk Tuk. Nice dinner restaurant, Zephir, also close by, only 5 minutes walk on the beach. Highly recommend Vis Ta Vie Mirissa - we will definitely be back!

Great hostel! The host is very kind and helpful, the welcome drink is just splendid! Was able to leave my backpack and pick it up later after checkout. Breakfast was great and includes a refreshing mango drink.

A wonderfully peaceful place, a beautiful, spacious room with a huge bed and a balcony overlooking the trees and the monkeys that live there😍Very clean bathroom, hot water and toiletries. Very nice owners, very helpful. The whole building was calm and quiet. One of the best places I've been to during my trip to SriLanka. There is a restaurant next door, there are breakfasts and lunches. The restaurant is owned by the same owners. They also have a tuk tuk available so you can arrange a ride if you want to keep going. Highly recommended☺️And most importantly, opposite, just after crossing the street is the descent to the beach where you can admire the turtles and 3 minutes to Coconut Tree Hill. Beautiful place.

The property was beautiful nestled in nature, and just a small walk from the main hustle and bustle. However, the most amazing thing about our stay was Ruwan and his family. He went over and beyond for us, he cooked us breakfast every morning, cooked dinner, took us on any adventures we wanted to experience and also organised our transport to the airport. What a lovely stay, couldn’t recommend it more.

The owner and staff in BeachMirissa Hotel was extremely kind and helpful. We had many good, inspiring and informative talks with the owners. We learned a lot about Sri Lankas history, political and social situation as week as many personal talks. My wife celebrated her birthday during our stay. Everybody at the hotel was so kind to celebrate her.

Its a very narrow drive to get to the villa better to use a three wheeler or small car as you will need a very experienced van driver should you use a bigger vehicle like us, but don’t let this deter you neither the unassuming appearance of the villa when you first see it. I promise you that paradise awaits the moment you step thru the front doors. The villa is as beachfront as beachfront can get and has been lovingly restored. There are only four rooms so once all four rooms are taken, it’s gone. We loved everything about this place. From the moment we arrived the staff pointed out 5 large turtles swimming right in front of our villa feeding on the seaweed and bobbing about on the ocean. What a welcome they gave us - we almost didn’t notice the vibe, the tranquility and peacefulness here at first. This is a spectacular beach front property on waters edge that is professionally run by 10 discreet staff. This villa has somewhat disconected from the rest of the world with its own private beach and spotty wifi which is typical of Sri Lanka anyways. There is no TV nor internet in the rooms but who needs it when there is an inviting pool and friendly staff to cater to your every whim. Internet works well outside of the rooms and guests are invited to use the rest of the villa like they would if they owned the property. Western breakfast is lovingly prepared and if you prefer Sri Lankan breakfast please inform the staff a day in advance. As this villa only has 4 rooms lunch and dinner in house dining can be served should you need it. It just needs early communications and the staff will happily provide or take a short walk to the main road for some other meal options. A two night stay is the minimum I would recommend here.

I liked my stay in the Homestay very much. The family was extremely nice, especially Netuki, who spoke English very well. They even invited me for dinner one evening. I got a big plate of fresh tuna with rice and jackfruit. It was so delicious. The location was also good, not far from beautiful Mirissa Beach. On the main road there are lots of shops and restaurants.
