We recently spent two weeks at the Plantation Surf Inn in Midigama East, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The location is absolutely perfect – right across from the beach and within easy reach of incredible surf breaks like Plantation, Lazy Left, Lazy Right, Rams and Coconut. The inn itself is stunning. The rooms are impeccably clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Everything was spotless and beautifully presented. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. Their suggestions for places to visit were spot-on, and their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The Plantation Surf Inn is more than just a place to stay; it's a place that fosters a true sense of community and relaxation. We already miss the peaceful atmosphere and the friendly faces. We were also delighted by the Plantation Surf Inn's restaurant! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all exceptional. They showcased the best of Sri Lankan cuisine – fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. We particularly appreciated the range of healthy options alongside the more traditional dishes. We recommend Plantation Surf Inn to anyone looking for a nice surfing getaway in Sri Lanka. We will undoubtedly be returning! Thank you for making our vacation so memorable.

Hansi and all hotel staff make your holidays great. The hotel is located in the best area we found to surf, very close to lots of peaks. You can go walking to lazy left, lazy right or rams. Bedrooms are spacious, cold nice showers in the garden and lot of facilities as a room locker for surfboards, motorbike rentals , drivers, etc Definitely, I will go back.

Nice homestay located away from touristic rush. Anything I need was provided after my request (extra bed sheet, electric kettle). There is a table and a big standing mirror in the room which I liked. Guest can use the fridge and the washing machine.

It’s a new built one! We wanted someplace modern with sleepy town vibes of midigama. And this didn’t disappoint us. It is a pvt studio sorts with a portch, garden and our own rooftop. Pramit the host was super helpful with scooters and other recommendations!

Very very nice stay at Villa 4c. Bhanuka and his family are so friendly and helpful and I would have stayed longer but it was fully booked. Good value for money. Very spacious and clean and the kitchen is good equipped.

The room seems very new and is very well equipped with a fan, table, chairs and a balcony. There is also a kitchen as well as a fridge which was nice. The stay is just a 5min walk from the beach and all the shop, yet you still have it very peacefull and quiet here. The host is super friendly and helpful, I would definitely come back.

I had a lovely staying at this place. The charming family was very hospitable and friendly to me. The breakfast included in the price is delicious. The rooms are on the second floor with balcony and with the entrance door opened it comes fresh wind so I didn't need the ventilator. The place is very calm with views to a wonderful garden. Thank you Samith and to your family for your service and kindness. I truly recommend this place.

Location is perfect .few minutes to the surf. The room is great value for money, has a nice bathroom with a hot shower. Hosts were really helpful, arranging airport ttransfers and even cooking some noodles for us when we arrived late at night We will be coming back here for sure!

An oasis right by the sea. Beautifully located with its own beach chairs and a great beach for swimming and surfing. Two main surf spots are just in walking distance. We liked it so much that we extended our stay several times. The family is very nice, takes care of everything and is always there. You get a super delicious breakfast served right on the beach, with juices and banana pancakes. The beds are comfortable and the view from the upper room is beautiful and you can fall asleep to the sound of the sea. We'll come back.

Fantastic location right on the beach. Safe swimming and snorkeling in the lagoon right in front of the property. Lovely family run guest house, the family are so nice and friendly and very helpful. Perfect spot for surfing between lazy left and rams and a short paddle or walk to lazy right.

The villa was in an amazing location, literally right on the beach! Amazing view of the surfers and along the main road so within easy walking distance the local restaurants and shops. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful too, would stay again!

The location is incredible right on the beach with a great swim spot in front and 3 surf spots in easy walking distance. We stayed in the spacious upstairs room with balcony with seaview through the palms. Everything you need is here, you can get drinks and breakfast, friendly owners and nice and peaceful.

Spectacular location right on the beach between Lazy Left and Rams surf breaks. The family who took care of us were so kind and we learnt so much from them, it was a pleasure to get to know them all. We loved this place so much we extended our stay and booked more nights to end our holiday with, there is no better place to stay in Midigama.

Right on the beach with sunbeds to relax and lazy left surf right next door. short tuk tuk from other breaks in the area. Board rental across the road and somewhere to keep it in the garden. Food and drink available.
