I had the most wonderful stay at Taragala Chalets. Saman was so kind and looked after me so well. I felt very privileged to stay in such a beautiful place and see amazing birds in the garden and in the wetland nature reserve beside it. Nothing was too much trouble for Saman and he took me around and showed me the lovely village, the beach and Taragala Rock. The food was amazing. It was the highlight of my trip. I have very happy memories and hope to be back one day.

The location of this hotel is incredible. Views of the sea to one side and a lake the other. The lake has incredible birdlife especially at dawn. We watched the sunrise from our balconies watching the birds on the lake. Amazing! The owner is such a lovely man and wanted us to enjoy the whole experience and shared so much local and wildlife knowledge. The pool was a lovely release from the hot weather. Breakfast was a huge spread of delicious fruit and traditional SL food. The village people are all so welcoming and all the restaurants family owned. We had a special experience that we cannot recommend more. Thank you. 🙏

Our family stayed two nights at Endlessblue, which is really an amazing and unforgettable experience - Certainly you cannot expect the luxury of 4-stars or 5 stars from there, however the room is spacious, clean and cozy. - Thimal(the Owner) and his family were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome on the first day. They tried to do whatever they can to make our stay nice and comfortable. BTW, they could speak both English and Germany very well. - Each meal is prepared mainly by Thimal himself and served on the beach side. The menu was hand-written by Thimal every day based on the fresh food he could get from the market. we enjoyed the food very much during our stay. - It is quite near the beach, which is very beautiful and has a good view of both the sunrise and the sunset, and most importantly very few people（almost nobody) were at the beach all the time. - The property is near the Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary, which is a very nice place for nature lovers(especially bird watchers); we did two boat tours and enjoyed very much the natural beauty and tranquility down there. Actually, the property itself is also a good natural place, and we saw Bengal monitor, and several beautiful birds(sunbird, black-hooded Oriole and Asian paradise flycatcher). - We would definitely come again and wish all the best for Thimal, Tatiana and Charlotte.

We had the suite, with the large terrace, directly on the beachfront. It was simple amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room service can be arranged by whatsapp. The menu and drinks have enough variety for 5-6 days. The beach is very quite and beautiful. Highlight was diner at the beachfront. Also, the spa menu gives your some good options for relaxation.

After traveling Sri Lanka for 3 weeks, this has absolutely been the best place we’ve stayed at. Everything is well thought of: the welcome, the privacy and interior of the cabanas, the beautiful garden with 2 pools. Breakfast is plenty! Good social aspect too, since they get the breakky and kayaks from local families who are lesser fortunate. If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet place to chill out, this is definitely it!

Wonderful hotel in a very beautiful location. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Clean and very beautiful swimming pool. The owner, and hotel manager Gintarė is very friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast is very delicious, and we don’t even have anything to say about the dinner, it’s just amazing. The stay was wonderful, I definitely recommend everyone to visit.

Super nice, cozy and clean house, really helpful staff. Good and fresh breakfast. Perfect place: nice pools, access to the wonderful beach, like a private paradise. You can feel the nature around you: monkeys with their babies, iguanas, birds, mango trees etc. We also enjoyed the massage treatments they offer. Everything was perfect.

The hotel owner and the whole staff are super friendly and helpful, they made us feel like home. Breakfast was really tasty and staff always prepared suitable food considering our allergies. The location is gorgeous right at the beach and the surroundings are beautiful and tranquil. A special place to enjoy the sounds of ocean and let your mind calm down.

Lovely relaxing stay! Nestled between a slightly more wild beach on the right and on the left, a little fishing harbour and a more gentle bay. The bay right by the harbour was a few minutes walk away and was good for swimming. The pool is really stunning. The house is set back in the palm tree gardens and is very comfortable with air con etc. The caretaker was most helpful and the hosts very responsive.

This small gem of a hotel is truly exceptional. Thimal,his family, and his team went to great lengths in making us feel comfortable and ensured we had everything we needed.. The beach front and the entire stretch is beautiful and pristine...It truly captures what sri lanka is all about ..

Wonderful location right on the beach in Kalametiya. Breakfast and dinner were both served on the beach - the food was really excellent and the atmosphere totally relaxing. The proprietor and his delightful family take a pride in offering a unique, personal service to the guests. Another bonus is the proximity of the hotel to the amazing Kalametiya bird sanctuary. This hotel exceeded our expectations and is highly recommended.
