A garden with a sea view is truly stunning. It offers a calm and comfortable atmosphere. Both dinner and breakfast are excellent. The hosts are kind and organized a fantastic boat trip to the lagoon for us. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

We had a pleasant 2 days stay in this beautiful and stylish hotel with bespoke interiors and convenient location near the beach and not far from the Galle Fort. The hotel staff Varuni and Roshan were extremely helpful and nice. They helped us with our requests to make our stay the most comfortable. The breakfast prepared by the staff was delicious and nicely served. We look forward to staying in Taavetti Hotel again.

Best hostel I stayed in all of Sri Lanka. Room is beautiful. Common space is huge and easy to meet people. Full kitchen, fridge, free chilled drinking water. Right next to the beach that's great for surfing and also next to the bus stop to Galle Fort. Price is amazing. And the only place I stayed that took credit card payment!

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay! In terms of location and being right on the beach, you can't ask for more, we loved it. The room was exceptionally clean and we really appreciated having a little fridge too, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was very tasty, and Saman and his family looked after us during our stay. We have stayed in seven different places so far whilst in Sri Lanka, and this one is in our top two. Thank you so much!

Beautiful, large room right next to the beach. With a balcony overlooking the sea. We kept our doors a little open so the seabreeze and soothing sound of the waves crashing comforted us to sleep. The owner is a very chill and nice person, willing to help you with planning trips etc. The food in the restaurant is amazing! We had a very wonderful stay 🫶🏻

Wow. I don’t even know where to start! The rooms were very comfortable, with a mosquito net and a powerful fan to keep us cool at night. It was right on the ocean so we were able to sit on our balcony or on one of the lounges and enjoy the gorgeous views of the ocean and the amazing sunsets every day. The best past was the hospitality. Shehan was such an incredible host, he was super accommodating, organising airport transfer from Colombo, taking us to a local temple, teaching us so much of his culture and customs, playing a local game called Carum with us and going out of his way at every opportunity to make it the most amazing experience. He even showed us to two baby turtles that had hatched below the property and we had the magical experience of releasing them that night. The food was top notch, local Sri Lankan breakfasts and two delicious dinners overlooking the beautiful ocean. Truly one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. I highly recommend.

Easily one of my favorite places in Sri Lanka, the place was simply amazing, right in the beach, room was nice, food was amazing and staff was super chill and friendly!

I really loved the family that did their best for me every morning and made a vegan breakfast specially for me. It was a big room with a fan which was perfect at night. They've been very kind and I've had the feeling of home for the 3 nights I spend here. And the chameleons that I saw during breakfast where a very pleasant surprise. Thank you for everything!
